The best policy tends to be to simply let people believe what they must, for it matters not to any of us.And yet, we are forced to accept that Iran has already won, and therefore we must accept its victory right now.

I think you’re quite knowledgeable on the subject, so just wanting to understand from you. Why 60 days and not 90 days? Or 6 months? Why any deal at all with terms like these (in the MOU), when the US/Israel had the upper hand, and Iran was on the brink of complete collapse?Of course. Of course.
The 60 days mentioned in the MoU are not important, I take it?
What will happen after 60 days from a US calculation standpoint if the 60 days do not result in a long term negotiated settlement?
But when we talked about the terms of the MOU favoring Iran, you seemed to be alluding that the 60 days was something important from a US strategic calculation standpoint. Now you’re saying you don’t know the significance of the 60 days, and what would happen if a long term negotiated agreement isn’t reached in 60 days.I cannot predict the future as well as most here. Please ask them this question, since I am content to be patient and see the end result of the negotiations.

A bit?.....How bout for the last 40 odd years no?This means less Iranian oil for China, which is good, because China took advantage of Iran a bit by buying a ton of its sanctioned oil at unfair prices.
I am confused, so what was the point about the 60 days then?LOL. Nowhere did I say that.
I only said I cannot predict what might or might not happen after the 60 days. And I say that only because the MoU itself mentions the many things that will be negotiated during that time period.
It is others here who think that the MoU has decided everything that Iran needs to declare victory.
Obviously, Iran must therefore has won by consensus, it is agreed. And no one can disagree.
I do not know what would happen in that case. Do you?
I am confused, so what was the point about the 60 days then?
About the MOU, can you point out in the text (specifically stated in the text) what the obligations on Iran are; and what concessions Iran will be getting? Please keep it strictly to the text of the document.
Also, can you show the exact words in the MOU about what Iranian topics specifically (if anything) will be discussed after the 60 day period?
But what is your reading on the text of the MOU the way it is?You can look up what you seek in the MoU itself just as easily as anyone else. I can copy it for you as you ask, but I cannot comprehend it for you.
But what is your reading on the text of the MOU the way it is?
Because you seem to think the text is not favorable to Iran?
I see you are using selective texts:I have said exactly what the MoU is important for many times before already:
1. immediate cessation of hostilities.
2. opening of the Strait.
3. waiver of sanctions.
The other matters are to be negotiated during the next 60 days.
What you comprehend from the above to indicate what I seem to think is up to you, and not up to me at all.
Irans punk'd da US bhai.I see you are using selective texts:
1. You didn’t mention the full clause, immediate cessations of hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon.
That was an Iranian demand, not a US demand.
2. Returning to the pre-war state
3. Iranian demand
There was no mention of Iran’s ceasing support for its proxies, nothing about the existing ballistic missile stockpile or dismantling the capacity and capability of the Iranian state to produce ballistic missiles.
so does this seem to favor Iran or the US?
Trump was right though, he said there would be no deal with Iran except unconditional surrender. Looks like an unconditional surrender from the Trump side.Irans punk'd da US bhai.
Pretty straight forward.
US is just negotiating them terms of surrender (reading the fine text)
Its understandable many are uncomfortable with this fact of life.
