Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

@ShapurII

You are clearly arguing emotionally for the sake of arguing. You have not provided any rebuttals to any of my points, sidestepping; moving goalposts and not being to provide objective statements; whereas I engaged with your posts directly and rebutted them giving concrete and verifiable facts and counterpoints.

I see you have no counter for the remaining stockpile of ballistic missiles for Iran vs interceptors for the US/Israel. The production of Iranian missiles (monthly rate) was the only objective statement you provided, the rest of your posts are pure emotional conjecture.

So, this whole idea that Iran can overmatch both Israel and the US has not been proven to be true yet.

And yet, we are forced to accept that Iran has already won, and therefore we must accept its victory right now.

The US seriously lacks a cheap solution to a cheap but very plentiful problem.

USA has never worked that way.

I am reminded of spending a huge amount to develop a zero gravity pen for the astronauts, while Russian just used pencils, back in the day. Similarly, we will now produce million dollar missiles to shoot down thousand dollar drones.

US taxpayers FTW! :D

No one is forcing you, you are free to believe anything you want.

But it is clear to everyone impartial who won this, and it’s reflected in the analyses of most international observers; and reflected even in the terms of the MOU.

We have to remember, the only concession Iran had to give in the (documented) MOU was opening up the straits, the rest were all concessions by the US. There was no mention of Iran’s nuclear program/assets.

Of course. Of course.

The 60 days mentioned in the MoU are not important, I take it?

The best policy tends to be to simply let people believe what they must, for it matters not to any of us.

But then again, some posts are summarily deleted, while others are not. So, it does matter to the mods what is said, which, of course, is their duty to enforce.

No worries. What is said matters not to reality, and the reality will continue over the next 60 days, as well as thereafter.

I think you’re quite knowledgeable on the subject, so just wanting to understand from you. Why 60 days and not 90 days? Or 6 months? Why any deal at all with terms like these (in the MOU), when the US/Israel had the upper hand, and Iran was on the brink of complete collapse?

What will happen after 60 days from a US calculation standpoint if the 60 days do not result in a long term negotiated settlement?

I cannot predict the future as well as most here. Please ask them this question, since I am content to be patient and see the end result of the negotiations.
