Nothing wrong with expecting the best from one's country but in the cold light of day, it seems quite evident that Tehran has performed to the best of its abilities given the substantially lopsided relative capabilities of the Iranian and American-Israeli military forces. In this specific context, Iran has exceeded expectations.

Of course, I wouldn't call it a decisive victory for Iran either. Perhaps, more a marginal one. Iran has suffered heavy costs from this war and remains perpetually vulnerable unless it somehow dramatically upgrades its defence.

Yes, you're right. Irán won the war. But the cost has been high. Irán lost many of the infraestructure and Artesh have been decimated badly.
The key is to replenish the missile stocks and being capable of enriching uranium. US and Israel knows everything about Irán and I am pretty sure that nobody is interested in returning to open war.
Missiles will protect nuclear program and active nuclear program will force Trump to make a deal instead of months of pain and destruction. Hope he will be pragmatic and not be grabbed again like killing Soleimani or starting the war. Both were stupidities that carried nowhere.

I agree with you - but I would still like @ShapurII to state what/how Iran could have done things differently and what material effect they may have had in his view, relative to the state of things right now.
