What way forward do you suggest now?
Iran needs to play the madman to survive this war like what we did in the first three-four weeks of the war. And Iran needs some form of deterrence to do that. It won't work if whenever the US feels inconvenient, Iran accepts a new premature ceasefire. That's just boiling the frog in my opinion, a slow inevitable death.
The Russians and the Chinese have already made it clear that they're not going to give Iran any sort of deterrence. The Chinese ambassador in Tehran said, just today, that China's policy is not to get involved in global conflicts, meaning that Iran should not count on China for military support. He continued to say China, however, supports the integrity of all countries. Basically, you won't get anything better than public statements or political support from us. Russia is also Zionist to the core, as I have stated it before.
By the way, have these fools that think the current status quo is sustainable thought about who will replace Mojtaba if he is assassinated too? Do these people still think that this time is different and Mojtaba cannot be assassinated? Have they learned nothing from the past? Who will replace him if he is assassinated as well?
So, either Iran will obtain nuclear weapons and continue to play the madman by attacking the world's energy resources and tankers, as well as the USN assets in our firing range, or we should stop the war, throw all Arabs under the bus, normalize our ties with Israel and accept to respect the world's status quo as imposed by the US. We will also be forced to give concessions to the US, which is bad, but it is our own fault for letting things get to this point. There is no other option in reality. Either get the nukes and fight the fight or surrender and act like a normal state.
One more thing, it is obvious that Israel and the US are a package deal. There will be no deal with the US if Iran continues to support anti-Israel resistance movements or call for an end to Israel. Also, these anti-Israel movements haven't been proven very useful when we needed them the most.
