The entire reason for their creation and continued existence is to assist faraway hegemonic empires in exploiting the region.

No, they don't have a chance against Iran on their own (or with the support of the empire as we saw) because they are artificial creations that will not exist naturally. Like an aquarium that will collapse without continuous external upkeep. This is basic stuff.

NATO and US military prepares for robust strikes on Iran, which will deplete them enough for Russia to be happy and optimistic about it's ability to break Ukraine in 2 and prevent it from being a threat again to Russia.

NATO is more likely to do nothing. It would take a 9/11-style event to get them to react. Even then I wouldn't be so sure.
