Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Do people still doubt nothing is off limits to protect the petro dollar?

It's not that the west and U.S in particular aren't scum who would love to occupy Iran

It's just that the actual logistics are very very difficult and improbable

Iran is a very large state with 93 million people and a large military
It also has offensive missile and drone options

1-So how many troops will the U.S need to invade a nation of 93 million?

2-Where will those troops base themselves and how will they launch an invasion of Iran?

3-How will they stop Iran blasting those troops and launchpad with missiles and drones?

4-How will thousands -millions of troops actually get to their base/launchpad? Slow moving troop ships or aircraft?

5- How much preparation does the U.S require to deploy thousands of troops, does Congress, the country and troops plus families need to be notified?

And honestly I could go on and on and on

Is their a risk of a all scale land grab of karg island or something, sure, maybe, but as long as Iran can fire missiles and drones
Then it's pointless, because they will just insert U.S troops into a unwinnable situation where they will simply be picked off and killed and the invasion will be crushed and a propaganda nightmare

The U.S will hit Iran from air and hopes Iran will capitulate

Iran needs to keep fighting, absorb attacks and remember the effect on the U.S and world economy is the REAL WEAPON

And it's needs to control the Hormuz and enforce a toll, to obtain money to repair the billions on damage it has occurred

Oil continues rising despite Trump dropping Hormuz ‘reimbursement fee’

The price of international Brent crude oil has risen more than 10% since Sunday, to levels not seen since June.

As reserves draw down, oil prices will increase quickly

It's just speculation that keeps it low, hoping that this will just be another limited exchange

Up to the Iranians to figure that one out and how best to utilize them.

Absolutely yes! That is what I have been saying all along.

Feeling aggrieved, or wronged, or calling the other belligerent side the aggressor may feel justified, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the actual conduct of the war in response.

It must be ruthless and using all resources as best as possible. War is war.

Yes, that is precisely the "as best as possible" part. The resources are one thing; the strategy to deploy them is the other.
So you are suggesting that resources are always deployed optimally in wars?

That it is inconceivable for a belligerent party to intentionally underplay their hand as a deliberate "feint", tactically or strategically?

E.g. The Punic Wars, Hannibal Barca deployed perfect feints against the Roman enemy repeatedly on multiple different battlefields.

Some cultures would argue that deception is the very art of war. And poker!

Either Iran or USA could be deliberately underplaying their hands as we speak. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.

Fair my main concern seeing all these concentrated strikes along the coastline and the target selection seems to be the same areas three days in a row... The strikes so close to Iran's only civilian nuclear plant are also deeply troubling if I am being 100% honest.

Iran must have a trump (forgive the pun) or two which they can play at this point - the tempo for now seems to be in the favor of the US. Perhaps if enough pressure is applied on Iran at SoH they resort to diverting attention by activities through their partners to harass shipping lanes in bab-el-mandeb? The Carrier Strike group is positioned just 300 miles from Iranian Coast. Holding here:

I don't believe that's ever been the case. You don't spend billions building bases and even more effort staffing them just to abandon them in a conflict. The bases have been degraded but they remain staffed with US personnel. You can't run a war just from the air and neither from Florida.

It is possible that some US forces have been moved to more secret locations in the Gulf.
Them bases are gone bro.......They'll never get rebuilt.

It was a bad idea building them in the first place.

Petitions against law filed to High Court; deputy minister quits in protest; Netanyahu skips vote, is denounced as ‘traitor’ by opposition MK; all ultra-Orthodox MKs proudly acknowledge they have relatives who could benefit from the law

So this could be nothing more than him just running like a coward that he is or this could be him making moves behind the scenes and using this as a cover but he’s going to need something to occupy the minds of Israelis for the next several weeks and this war would be perfect

Also - the idea is to have read every aspect of how Trump works and how he has run deals all his life - and know when your dispersed/devolved leadership strategy works and where it leads to scuttling the potential to get a good hand.
