Looks like they are isolating southern Iran from the rest of the country. And destroying bridges means restricting the mobility of Iranian troops. But still it's hard to believe they are ready to take on massive losses by ground invasion. @ShapurII bro now I can understand your fears but still my personal judgement is there won't be any boots on ground.

I do think the Americans are stupid enough to try and occupy some islands but it won’t give them the control over the straits or reduce Irans control. So strategically it will be a fail.

Not confirmed yet, most likely wrong. I have checked the FIDS of some local airports in Iran, including Mehrabad and Kish Island, and all flights so far are going to be on schedule. This can change soon, of course.

Brother i fear some people here are oversimplifying the number of US aerial power being used right now, to put it into perspective last two days over 300 aircraft were involved, flying 27 different sorties. Today since 0500 ET - Military transport activity was seen to be significantly above baseline.

300 aircraft is not a small number! According to public briefings at the re-start of hostilities the US struck 90 targets in a single night, further assaults by air and sea in the past 48 hours struck an additional 140 targets, taking the total to 300 known targets.

What do you think about their goal this time around? I think its death by thousand cut. They will gradually increase the strikes and will have complete air superiorty over iranian skies, last time it was threat only.
Rather than trying to destroy all power stations and civilian infrastructure at once, US is going to do it by 1 or 2 here and there for days.

Ofcourse there is no match to US airpower, last time ir did get few success which looks unlikelt this time around.

Imam putin got horribly exposed in Ukraine with his junk military. China is in a far worse situation on that count vs the US in the far east. And the Chinese know it too. Thats why even a pip squeak don't come out of their mouths.

Chinese are smart people; you will never see them opening their mouths unnecessarily. Dealt with a lot of Chinese... Cold and calculated, unlike us Pakistanis and Iranian brothers. Sadly, for us, we wear our hearts on our sleeves.

Trump's 60-day deadline would've been over already and oil prices could've reached $150 per barrel by then. What about now? They've replenished the AD in the Emirates, the Americans have regrouped and prepared for further military action, and oil prices are still below $85 per barrel.
