Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

No target is 100% secure. There is a reason those ships are so far out.

Needless to say, Iran attacking a US aircraft carrier would result in massive outrage in the states, would actually harden domestic opinions regarding the war and galvanize support against Iran mong NATO members.

For now the support for the war back in the states is like warm at best. This would change overnight, many in the intl. Media still share news articles highlighting the plight of the Iranians, this would change overnight when caskets of American personnel are seen on screens.

Attacking a US Navy vessel in any spectacular fashion would be highly counter productive to Iran and it's interests.

Yes - that is my point, it has nothing to do with nuclear weapons being dropped and everything to do with Iran calibrating its response for escalation management to give the Americans a route out..

( and I don't agree with your point about NATO caring "more" if an aircraft carrier is hit during military operations against Iran, by Iran in response - but I will leave that logic for others to opine on... I need some lunch .. so bye for now).

Building a single nuclear warhead is not going to change anything. And Iran has no fissile material to do that. We can only purchase nukes at this point, which is impossible.
Iran is sitting on 600Kgs of 60% UF6, refining it to 90% of U235 will get them 290kgs of fissile material enough for 20 nuclear bombs of 20 thousand TNT, more than North Korea, its more than enough to cause serious damage to millions of troops trying to invade their country. my two cents.

Nope, 440 kg of 60% UF6, not 600 kg. And Iran cannot access it because it's been buried deeply under Fordow and Natanz at the moment, and it will take months to dig those places with special equipment because the whole place is now radioactive and corrosive, which is absolutely impossible under 24/7 satellite surveillance and US air dominance over Iran.

And even if Iran by some miracle accesses its 440 kg of 60% UF6, Iran has lost most of its centrifuges and even if Iran enriches it to 80%-90% with a small percentage of it enriched to 99%, Iran has no uranium metal conversion facility anymore.

So, bottom line, Iran has no fissile material. Case closed. The US made sure of that before launching an all-out war on Iran. This is why the US targeted Iran's nuclear facilities first in last year's June.

Your point was its no big deal if Iran attacks a USN Carrier... Like hey no biggie... Which is factually incorrect at best.

Which circles back to everything to do with the capabilities of the enemy. Iran wouldn't be "calibrating" if it didn't feel the US could escalate further.

History tells us a different story... But hey if we are dismissing historical precedent, might as well claim the moon is made of chocolate.

Enjoy your lunch. Buh Bye! :)

Very bad news for Kuwait, I think something like 95% of their water comes from Desalination.

If this continues there will be a rush on bottled water, if that is not already happening.

You will now have images of KAF C-130s flying in water.

This will not go down well with GCC....

I am much more optimistic. Yes US entered inside Irán and operated during hours, but the landing finished in a complete failure with more than half dozen aircrafts destroyed.

Even US personnel said that every Iranian with a weapon was shooting them. And that would make things extraordinary difficult to them. This kind of numantine resistance can be mixed with all propaganda apparatus just to tell them that US is the invader, and their interest relies just in oíl that can be easily traded vía international commerce.

Irán is not Irak. There are high mountains, and a lot of short range missiles like Fath360 and drones enough for make indirect fire support literally hundreds of kilometers away. Much more than Ukraine, whose military didn't have that awesome conventional ballistic missile force.
Unfortunately, the south of Iran is pretty flat compared to the rest of the Iranian plateau. Most of our mountains are in the west and the north.

Also, shooting at the USAF patrolling and scanning the area with weapons is different from resisting against the US Army on the ground.

That aside, the US successfully rescued both of the pilots. They failed to enter Natanz though, because it was a stupid plan. But they did rescue both of their pilots after operating inside Iran for almost 2 days.

Its the same as US warships hitting any tankers or ships heading for Iran - a move to try and control the SOH. A ship cant be classified as "civilian infrastructure" but it is a civilian vessel.
"Civilian" is the key word here. If Iran hits civilian targets of other countries then all Iranian civilian targets are fair game.
