Qatar is home to the largest USAF military base. Al-Udeid Air Base is the largest military base that the US has in the Middle East and North Africa. This is the base that was used to assassinate Gen. Soleimani, which started all this.
Also, this is the base that will be inevitably be used against Iran if a ground invasion is launched.

We actually do know that. The attack that led to the assassination of Gen. Soleimani was coordinated and carried out from the Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar. We do not know that. Also Qatar has gone out of its way all the time to restrain US and also broker a peace deal.
By your criteria why has Israel not been hit then?
Yeh Afghans also used to say that it was the Taliban who were defending them, crazy how that turned out.
Subsidised fuel smuggle only is already a few Billion USD a year gift from Iran to Pakistan. Pakistan establishment is more wise than risking its ties with a neighbour for a cheap loan. With over 7 Billion USD Saudi money in our reserves and a request for an additional 6.5 Billion USD over 15% at 1% interest certainly makes this a case for taking sides when push comes to shove.
It won't affect him he is safe in Pakistan on a computer. That's why its easy for him to say "DO IT"... Yaar I don't understand why threads like this invite this Sutan Rahi attitude:~
