Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

The current war's main goal for Iran is to cement Iranian control over the Hormuz and remove the US military threat. Granted that is a hefty goal, our leaders are vomit inducingly bad. But that is the goal nonetheless. If Iran achieves that there will be nobody left to shut down the Strait. I don't see India and Philippines assembling an armada to confront Iran
The main goal of the current war for Iran is survival in my opinion, the Strait of Hormuz is never part of Iran's objectives as long as Iran can secure its security.

Getting dragged into Mideast wars for a few $$$ and cheap loans , while seven times larger India is breathing down your neck, isn't in Pakistan's interests. We have 50 years of fighting the West's war in Afghanistan as further proof.

OT so people can start a separate thread on this topic.

Once again, Iran was literally hiring Pakistani Shias to fight their wars. It is better to stay neutral and criticize equally. If not, then don't display any double standards. We can discuss it in other topic.

Has the agreement signed? Has the alliance been made official? It's better to comment when it happens.
It was signed rapidly with Saudis so it seems likely they will sign with Kuwait too. Meanwhile Pakistan for decades hasn't had the ability to use IP and bring cheap and readily available energy to the energy starved and poverty stricken Pakistani people. I will keep my opinion to myself as nationalism will lead to blind backlash. Please continue.

Pakistan is making a military alliance with a country we are currently at war with. I am not criticizing, I just find it interesting. Please continue.
Are you at war with Kuwait?

This is where the Iran skeptics within Pakistan get oxygen because it's not as if Iran somehow always finds time for India, and hardly flinched when modi was where days before the war? and then there was the ship incident?

Pakistan on the other hand having cooperation with an oil rich, Muslim and nearby nation in the same region is suddenly interesting as if it's comparable....

Kuwait had Pakistanis banned for 19 YEARS!

Systematically deported stateless Palestinians and Pakistanis over past 3 decades.
They have been living the consequences of their actions... today the wrath they're facing is of their own creation.

Will they have another ambassadors daughter shed some crocodile tears to get some sympathy? It is similar in Emirates...
GCC has been treating everyone sympathetic to them as kin or following the same creed as slaves while sending trillions of their economic output to be invested in the collective... depriving the people in the region from prosperity and prospects.

They care about nothing but preserving their own egg!
I think israeli bombings in doha last year might have brought qataries into their senses which is why we are not hearing a lot of condemnation directed at iran by qatar despite their base al udeid getting pounded for the past couple of days, they might even secretly be happy about it.

Personally i am not a fan of these defence agreements with arabs, they seem too trigger happy and far too entrenched in the western bloc to have a defence agreement with them that makes you legally bound to fight their useless wars against your own muslim brethren.

IMHO Hormuz and Iran's survival are inseparable at this point. It is all or nothing.

We'll discuss it in relevant thread and when we cross that bridge. I don't like the hypocrisy and double standards being displayed here where people defends the alliances made by Iran and criticize what Pakistan is doing.
PAkistan was not in alliance with Isis/nusra front or israil when Iran made alliance with Assad and Hezbullah to confront them..

You are comparing apple with oranges or you are a guy who thinks that its going to be shia sunni war and because iran allied with alaviz and killed syrian "sunnis" Pak should do the same haha

Can you share the source which says Pak-Saudi pact was signed rapidly? This shows how much you know about the subject (zero). You have zero idea about Pak-Kuwait negotiations and you generously applied false analogy of Pak-Saudi pact on Pak-Kuwait negotiations. . Lets stick to poverty sticken population of Iran and how war is affecting them and I'd suggest you to educate yourself about the alliances of Pakistan and how and when they were formed.

Weren't you one of those people who cheered Iran's victory over the US? Devoid of facts nuances? lol

Yeh, lol right... quote the post and context... otherwise useless distraction... to what end?
Afghanistan is a landlocked country. What does that have to do with Khuzestan and Bushehr with access to the Persian Gulf?
Khuzestan is even connected to Iraq as well. Khorramshahr in Khuzestan was under Iraqi control for nearly 2 years during the Iraq-Iran war. What are you even talking about? lol Do you even know what you are talking about? Clearly not.
You do understand that Iraq itself has to be supported via logistics... ones that have to make their way first to Basra... or overland via Jordan or Turkiye...
If you have a working solution... send it to cent com... maybe it solves their problems.

Trust me, any random Joe in Iran understand military affairs regarding Iran better than you. Saddam held Khuzestan of Iran for 2 years and you think the US with over 20 military bases around us and access to Iraqi territory cannot? rofl What an expert!

Lol, right... Iraq then had amongst the largest standing armies backed by the collective... against a post revolution Iran... one where he assumed gave him advantage... where he could play the Arab nationalism card...

Just forget about it...
