Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

While I agree with the core of your statements, please don't forget that when Putin reached the Presidency of Russia, he inherited a bankrupt country with virtually no real Air force and a tenth part of the previous Soviet Army.

No real Airforce? Are you joking me? The post Soviet Union Airforce was VERY STRONG and MUCH more relevant than the RussianAirforce today. You forget Russian airforce was one of the best 4th gen fighting forces in the world. Go look up when SU-27 or MiG-29 was built. When SU-30 was built, the backbone of the Russian airforce today.

In fact Russian airforce and military equipment started falling behind from 2007-2026 when the 4++, 5th gen, AESA, UAV, BVR era started or else from 1990-2005 Russian military equipment was still very deadly.

Putin much like Rouhani/Khatami thought that cooperation with the West would ultimately be rewarded with acceptance. Putin considered himself as part of the Western world and the Anglo-Saxon Christian framework. He thought Russia was different than the brown people of the Middle East or the yellow people of Asia. He thought they were beneath Russia.

In the end the West kept stringing Putin along and eroding Russia’s borders. Then when finally Putin admitted to himself what was long see to outside observers — that the U.S. had no interest in peer to peer relations with Russia, it was too late. And then you saw how fast the West confiscated Russian assets, pulled western firms out of Russia, and assassinated Russian officials.

Putin did not have enough power to stop plans of Colin Powell and George Bush to deploy ABM systems in Poland and Romania.

Non sense. Russia could have steamrolled Ukraine back when the first war broke out. Zelensky didn’t exist. Ukraine had no real military post revolution. And Ukraine was still lost and divided as a nation. Hence why Russia easily took Crimea and was on the verge of taking Kyiev over a decade ago when Merkel made fake promises to Putin and convinced him to sign the Minsk agreements.

Putin now realizes those were the most detrimental agreements signed in modern Russian history. The ramifications which are seen today.

are we finally heading towards a massive attack from Iran against Israel Hezbollah Houthis Iraqis and iran but honestly they shouldn’t telegraph it because if they now just threatened Israel with a devastating sustained attack the Israelis might attack first
never knows its a bluff, force to change foreign US war policy. Iran knows US will never remove the sanctions and GCC behind close door support these sanctions.

whey repeat this myth? its not Ukraine its all of Nato proxy ukraine vs Russia
Yes, even using bug size nuke will change the whole situation. Iran nuke policy will be fly free.

I don’t think Iran is bluffing anymore like they used to if they say they are going to do something these days they tend to follow up with action 48 hour deadline I guess has about passed Iran has supposedly given everyone orders to prepare for a large merciless battle of the wills so something is about to go off

Russia has over 6000 nukes and Ukraine has non....those nukes are helpful ?
Really? You are comparing a tiny nation geographically and in population with Russia? You're smarter than that... and what nation that is in a state of war with Russia has threaten Russia with its destruction?

This was a bad move by IRGC when the current regime in Israel is looking for an excuse to get rid of a threat.

What's happening with oil

A weapon you have no intention of using is not helpful. They tried to bluff with that Oreshnik strike on Dnipro a few years ago but here we are with Ukraine droning Moscow on a daily basis. The west knows Putin won't ever use nukes.

Natanyahu leave or stay, Israeli policy is same.

Why did China use their reserves only do this AFTER Trump visited? Because they run a two face foreign policy just like Putin did for decades where they throw “weaker” countries under the bus to make the West like them.
So, we have to set the premise straight... each state, or polity, has it's own priorities at heart. To say that Iran will set the tone for what others should follow, even if Iran is right, is not going to fly... each decides from their own vantage point and that molds their opinion.

That being said... China has fought against the US... they have been humiliated... they already come from a place which dictates their priorities. Orange first move in the office was to toll China... to cut the trade deficit... it was Chinese retaliation that humbled the clown and he didn't attempt that again.
With Chinese flex, Orange could in theory go back and ask them to reset the table... ask for concessions. I do not have to explain here that, it is in fact China that ultimately loses if US manages to choke all of their oil... such as Venezuela or arm twisting Canada for any of the trade deals they do...

Which means... unless Iran has it's own leverage to pull ... anyone with something to give for a concession will do so bilaterally. In this case I do not expect China to concede Iran... it isn't theirs to give... and only Iran will dictate the course unless someone inside doesn't see the full picture.

Let me ask you a simple question, if the role was reversed and China was facing an energy crisis, do you think Europe/India/Japan/Australia/US would tap their oil reserves and STOP importing oil to help China?
Again, US had something to give for a concession and that would supersede a third country's primary motivation. Each of the countries you listed are in fact largest trading partner of China.

Of course not. They would be giddy with relief at a chance to DESTROY the Chinese economy. Xi has and always will be a Western appeaser.
XI has for the first time tightened the screws on western companies... sanctioned REs and now even tech originating in China. Xi will look for Chinese interests and that means he'll bide his time... he has a replacement in place for a reset... he can loose a few to get the house.

This could have happened much earlier if China kept buying oil like normal. Instead China directly emboldened Trump by giving him the breathing room and delusions needed to think he didn’t need the MOU or to abide it.
Chinese public position was and remains, end of hostilities. It is why they backed Pakistan for the peace process. It is Orange that played each... for which he has diminished his narcissistic self further in the hole.

No Xi has realized he is directly harming China by running down its reserves for no good reason in the face of a possible energy crisis.
Again, China has the largest reserves of any country. There is a demand crises happening in China and somewhat slowing of the economy. It is centralized economy and they can hit gas to prop up different parts of the economy or let some fall.

Back at the old forum (Pakistan defense forum) around 2013-2015 I told people there Putin’s appeasement policy and backstabbing Arab and Iran (Iraq, Libya, Syria) would come back to haunt him.
Putin has always assumed that he could get in the good graces of the collective. He was strung along and has brought Russia in a sort of bother... that is entirely on him... but to assume that Putin would have propped up a block and taken on the west... is also incorrect... he'd assume the same of all on the table... ditch Russia for better prospects or carrots offered by the collective. Think India... they had benefited from the former Soviet Union... however changed bases as it suited them... if it wasn't for the crucial things that only Russia offered and/or west couldn't replace, they kept Russia stringing along.

He laughed with Bush and called Iranians crazy. He didn’t do anything when Obama placed interceptors in Poland under the absurd pretext of “Iranian missile threat to Europe” and then he fell for that dyke Merkel’s tricks when he signed the Minsk accords instead of finishing off Ukraine when he had the chance over a decade ago.

APPEASEMENT WITH THE WEST NEVER WORKS!

That is an in club and out club thinking... as I said he always thought he'll just mix in and be a part of the collective. I don't think he laughs now...

Or perhaps, he reminisces...

Too little too late. This should have been done when Hezbollah was at full strength before Israel launched pre-empt strike on Hezbollah leadership and its missile capability.

How come these rich small Arab coutries do that foolish thing ?

Nonsense

It is just because Iranian leadership want to use price of oil and gas as their leverage, so they attack the weak for their own interest

So far that agenda cannot go to extreme oil and gas price due to current situation is not like 1970 any more, China oil stock pile for instant help oil price stay below 100 USD per barrel, then goes to Saudi pipe line, Russsian, African oil etc
Firstly who attacked who?
Secondly how simple can it be? If the attacks are from bases that are for example in Kuwait then they should expect in return to be a legitimate target. Maybe im missing something but thats common sense? No?.

The Russian Navy was obsolete and just strategic missile forces and nuclear ballistic submarines were somewhat operative.
Putin did not have enough power to stop plans of Colin Powell and George Bush to deploy ABM systems in Poland and Romania.

I recall when the announcement was done that he said that US and Europe were to regret of that moving... And ultimately they did.

By gones... really. What about how he managed Ukraine...
Russia still doesn't possess much of an air force or navy for that matter. It is a land power that relies on strategic weapons to deal with larger foe...

If he throws a hammer on Europe it will never be the same again... but chip it away and drag it long and you have nothing while you wither.

I don't agree.

You have witness how poliestirene airframes of Shaheds manufactured in China are reaching Irán to continue assembling them even in non industrial assembly lines.

What are you talking about? Shahed airframes are produced inside Iran. The body is relatively easy to produce in even a small workshop. I posted a video of one recently.

The engine is a cheap piston engine that Iran long reverse engineered. And Iran uses Russian jamming resistant chips for navigation, not Chinese as I posted today on a S-136 that attack Cyprus during the war.

We can extrapolate other raw materials coming from China for allowing Irán to continue the war.

So? Iran also sent materials to Gaza and Houthis and in the decades ago sent Quds force officers to Bosnia. Does that mean Iran was willing to die for Gaza, Houthi, or Bosnia?

China supporting both sides in this war is typical of what Russia/China have done in global conflicts dating back to the Iran-Iraq war.

But if they let fall Islamic Republic, no other obstacle for keeping tens of thousands troops stationed in the US branchs in the Middle East.

China doesn’t need Iran to prevent a war from reaching its shores. That war is coming whether Iran exists as an IR or a pro-western puppet. Either case Chinese economic relations would likely improve under a post-IR government as China can freely do business deals and investments without a wall of sanctions.

You must remember that 10+ years ago, China offered Iran a prime spot in its Silk Road infrastructure plan as a strategic node to connect the Middle East to Russia and Europe. Iran at the time was once again in the hands of reformists and they decided they are going to cozy up to Europeans and Americans once JCPOA is signed.

Well in that 10-15 years after no economic benefits arrived to Iran from America or Europe and China then spent the time working with Pakistan, Arabs, and African nations. Iran no longer became vital.
