Well if there are any dead Jordanians we can bet they will keep a tight lip on itBro, are there any local dead donkeys as part of collateral loss?
It won't become unpopular over a few deaths of servicemen. Everyone is out for themselves in the US. Pressure on gas prices isn't enough to cause people to lose it and get out in the streets.Good to see some US soldiers liquidated and the consequences of their actions creeping up now.
Unfortunately, the only other way I can see the US backing off from Iran is if the war becomes so unpopular back home that the political cost outweighs the perceived benefits. Usually, public opinion shifts when American soldiers starts coming home in large numbers, which will put immense pressure on Trump to reconsider their course.
This sort of nonsense is peddled by people who do not understand how nuclear deterrence works. Nuclear deterrence is not a binary situation.Saudi arabia can easily acquire a nuclear weapon if they wanted. its rumored they financed pakistan's nukes and can order one anytime they want or something like that.
Agreed with most of your points except it will be unpopular as the number of deaths starts creeping up even more.It won't become unpopular over a few deaths of servicemen. Everyone is out for themselves in the US. Pressure on gas prices isn't enough to cause people to lose it and get out in the streets.
Iran's leverage is :
1.) enriched uranium ( not doing anything with it so far but keeping it is leverage )
2.) closing Strait of Hormuz (main card it's playing to get it's terms)
3) targeting critical infrastructure in Gulf Arab states (unable to prove this capability against Israel )
Iran mainly playing on cards 1 and 2 and demanding to be able to charge fees over Strait of Hormuz which US won't accept. US wants unconditional ceasefire, back to status quo kind. Iran is trying to seize opportunity while war is raging to gain some strategic benefit.
Every time you start saying these things Iran ends up kicking it up a notchVery quiet tonight….
Meanwhile Iran once again it’s sitting waiting for the U.S. to strike first for the day instead of taking the initiative and attacking across the Middle East and keeping the pressure on Trump.
Iran exercises far too much restraint. This is why Israel wins conflicts against their opponents — unmatched brutality and not letting up. Iran needs to stop fooling around and escalate this.
