Might be dwindling supply for nearby US bases and some Gulf nations like Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar. The rest are mostly concentrated around and in Israel. The vast majority of regions interceptors (50%+) are concentrated in Israel despite hot zone being in the Gulf. This is what US political leadership is ordaining while military leadership believes we cannot escalate operations without moving those out of Israel to hotzone in Gulf.

US political leadership also waging tariff wars on EU and China and making this protracted conflict by design hurts EU and China. It's also hurting average US citizen and those in middle class are losing purchasing power, wages going down and lots of job cuts to boost corporate profits. You can thank republican leadership for orchestrating yet another wealth transfer from poor/middle class to rich. American citizens are on way to become like European citizens and lose purchasing power as US becomes more fuedalistic under Republican leadership.

If US sought regime change or weakening regime they will begin targeting government buildings in Iran which they aren't doing and haven't been doing. They are not taking initiative to achieve stated objectives. Even the couple they named like Iran not having nuclear weapons.

So this is protracted by design to mostly hurt US middle class, do wealth transfer to rich in US and change job market dynamics to anti-worker market and laying foundations down to destroy middle class for good so they can't own real estate in future. It's also meant to weaken EU in front of US and Israel and get them to make more concessions to US and Israel.

EU is divided on how to respond and is waiting out Trump second term. Their policies will become more apparent in 2029 when Trump is out and they know what US really wants at that point.

Conclusion, my take is this protracted conflict will continue at low intensity pace into 2029 with long term goals of hurting US middle class , Asia, Arabs, China, and EU. So if you're following this conflict no need to over analyze it, it's a bigger picture behind the scenes.

AI + Iran war is being used as cover by US deep state to deregulate middle-class to poor class. The next three years is last chance for US citizens to upskill and secure good jobs, and do any unnecessary spending. Anyone that remains stagnant during this period is going to suffer post-2029. Stock market will remain fine because incentives and tax cuts all going to big corporate while consumers are getting further into debt and rising costs due to Republican policies is all being passed onto consumer. Automakers pausing or cancelling lots of EV long term projects and big tech cutting lots of jobs and offshoring to invest in AI instead of hire Americans to please shareholders and keep stock valuable.

We will see if there is AI bubble or investment pays off but right now it's all anti-consumer and anti-average American that is facing the entire consequences of all decisions made by leadership with no break or cut for them.

It will become more clear by midterms. If midterms are rigged and we see Republicans hold many seats still then this is permanent departure from known US policy and you better upskill and build foundation toward wealth/social networks over next 3 years if you don't want to be second class citizen by 2029.

Saudi Arabia is investing hundreds of billions into the US economy over period of decades (not at once) which is strongest and wealthiest in the world over period of decades and these are Saudi assets so the wealth belongs to Saudis. Creates jobs for Americans but ultimately are foreign assets.

He is one of the worst Presidents in American history. If it wasn't for Supreme Court shutting down some of his plans and checks and balances he would have inflicted even worse damage on economy.

The issue is Americans still will vote Republicans in because they blame their problems on immigrants despite record deportations and vastly reduced immigration, corporations still fired American born workers, hired people at lower prices in overseas in other countries to replace those jobs, then invested it AI and to show profit for shareholders.

He is also has bad management of US military and military resources. So do Democrats to be fair. They allocated so much military resources to Israel to enable genocide in Gaza that CENTCOM lacks tools now to complete military objectives in the region so US administration is leaning heavier on economic sanctions which are on Iran, Syria, Palestinians, Lebanese and others ....

The thing I don't understand is why not sign a civilian reactor deal with China, their technology especially 3rd generation if I am right is one of the most if not the most advanced in the world.

Why sell yourself, that too for something a Saudi will not be let anywhere near let alone any technology gain.

For people who say Arab approach to Palestine would have worked and Iran is the culprit. Beneath the facade and hubris it was just acceptance of Greater Israel and relocation of Palestinians to Africa or other Arab countries.

Arabs a large people. There isn't a centralized policy since Arab nationalism is no more. There was Arab nationalism in 40s-70s and they fought wars with Israel that didn't work out as planned.

Saudi Arabia is acting alone is likely seeking to evade US sanctions/penalties in some kind of other forms if they had went with Russian or Chinese reactors but Saudi Arabia also wants US military protection for foreseeable future at least another decade or two.

Saudi Arabia may seek enrichment of some sort and looking to become a nuclear threshold state in the long term. The deal with US will be interesting if it actually comes into fruition and if US allows enrichment as Saudi is wealth nation unlike Egypt which is building Russian reactor in Cairo strictly for energy purposes and no enrichment. And no ballistic missile program (old missiles or rumors don't count, they don't actually have a ballistic missile program ) .
