Sucking up never solved da problems. Look at India.......for example. No one gives a shit if France invests in Iran. And don’t worry they will be the first to line up. That’s the French for you. Macron says this shit because he knows French companies will be at a disadvantage. France did the same shit around JCPOA signing when they took a harder stance than even US in the P5+1 negotiations.
Anyway today Europe is anti growth. Look at how much they fined American Big Tech companies. Europe is not innovating or prospering. The biggest technology which is AI and Europe is not even close to China or America. Europe’s influence in the world is stagnating if not retreating year by year.
Europe is a joke these days more focused on being woke and over regulation. UK isn’t any better as their policies have caused major problems. It’s a far cry from 2000’s and I don’t think anyone looks at Europe as a major global investor anymore. I don’t think Iran cares about Europe as much as it did 20 years ago. Europe is in steep decline with its obsession over Russian war. To make matters worse mass immigration of Arabs, Indians and Africans is causing cultural backlash among the population.
Next president is probably a Democrat so no I doubt it. And neither Vance or Rubio would undo Trump’s signature peace deal.
The biggest thing Iran needs is U.S. companies to invest in Iran and Chinese companies to invest in Iran. These are the only companies in the world that can get shit done and properly integrate Iran into global economy.
Not Europe, Not Arabs, Not Pakistan, No india, not Russia.
The problem is even if Trump lifts all sanctions on Iran and encourages everyone to invest in Iran, there is no guarantee anyone actually does. There is too much risk and red tape around Iran that it might take years or decades for companies to ramp up investment into the country.
Iran was not onboard with the 2003 invasion of Iraq. At best, Iran was neutral. In 2003 there was an entire coalition, Arabs and even Iran was onboard.
Even many people in Iran's parliament, such as Khalkhali, wanted to go and assist Iraq.Iran was not onboard with the 2003 invasion of Iraq. At best, Iran was neutral.
