Iran can flatten Tel Aviv and Haifa without Nuclear weapons. It can wipe out all energy infrastructure within missile range. It can take out Dimona nuclear facilities. Even the use of nuclear weapons is not haram in retaliation. Weapons of mass destruction did not exist back then. There is no specific mention of weapons of mass destruction in the Quran, obviously. However, the Quran says Muslims should not bring harm to civilians or animals, or the lands they conquer indiscriminately.

On the other hand, Islam explicitly says that Muslims have to treat their enemies in the same way they have treated them. Basically, it means that if your enemy nuked you, nuke them back. It is right from the Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah 2:194

"So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you."

If anything, nuking your enemy in retaliation is completely in line with the Quran.

And in Surah Al-Anfal 8:60, Quran explicitly orders Muslims to arm themselves with whatever weapon that is available. It is not a recommendation, it is not an opinion. It is a divine duty for Muslims to arm themselves with whatever they can, including nuclear weapons.

Iran will never give up on its right to a peaceful nuclear program. Iran enriched to 60% HEU as a bargaining chip. Iran was willing to dilute it down to below 5% if a proper deal could be made.

OK. Let's study that scenario. You will attack Dimona. First of all, before you do that, the Israelis will shut down Dimona. They're not stupid. Every modern nuclear reactor can be shut down gracefully with no radiation risk. And even if Iranian missiles land on Dimona and do not get intercepted, at best, you'll have something on a significantly smaller scale than what happened in Fukushima, Japan.

What do you think will happen then? The Israelis will nuke Shiraz, Tabriz, Mashhad, Qom, and possibly other populated cities one by one, in any order they want. What will be your response then?
