Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

So many pages of talks about nuclear weapons. Pathetic.

Russia has thousands of them and yet they have been put in a situation/trap in which they lose tens of thousands of good men every year, get their cities and refineries and ports and ships bombed as if they're defenseless.

Yeah, having 10-20 nukes would have prevented a US/ISR attack on Iran. Great logic.

And yeah, Russia hasn't used them because Putin is a cuck. No other reason. Sure.

Putin is not a blood thirsty person like westerners. They could have used it but they do think and care about the consequences.

All of these points have been addressed before. If you wanted to understand them, you would've understood them by now. I'm going to reiterate them for you again, even though I know you won't understand them anyway. Just like @Kyussis who got silent and disappeared after I told him what would happen if Iran targeted Dimona as an option for nuclear retaliation.

Q1. Why has Russia not used nuclear weapons in Ukraine?
Answer:
First of all, Russia is the aggressor in that war. The theory of nuclear deterrence is based on the concept of defending yourself against existential threats. Russia is under no existential threat in that war and is the aggressor. So, the theory does not apply here at all.
Secondly, Russia is trying to annex Ukrainian lands. When you want to add territory to yours, you do not go after nuking them because you want to add those resources and people to your own country. None of these things are similar to the situation between Iran and Israel or the United States.
Thirdly, and the least important reason but worth noting, is that Ukraine still has the second largest group of Soviet nuclear weapons engineers after Russia and Ukraine has one of the world's largest uranium reserves in the east of the country. So, both factors are present. If Ukraine decides to build nuclear weapons because its existence has been threatened, now that Russia has been proven to be incapable of invading Kyiv, they can most likely go for this option. And given Russia's lack of a capable intelligence apparatus, Ukraine may already be close to that point, awaiting the approval of its Western allies. Zelensky publicly requested the Western leaders for this 2 years ago.

Q2. Would having 10-20 nukes have prevented the war with Israel and the US?
Answer:
Yes, it would've prevented it because then Iran would've been able to inflict real damage on Israel and the neighboring Persian Gulf states instead of firing missiles at random empty targets, slightly damaging them only. Iran is literally firing missiles at unimportant targets instead of totally destroying major global energy infrastructure in the Middle East. Why? Because Iran is a non-nuclear state and cannot define the terms of the war and is always shy from going up the escalation ladder. The US and Israel have been dictating every term of the war so far and it will remain so as long as Iran is a non-nuclear state. Iran has refused to even go tit-for-tat in response to Israeli destructive attacks on our infrastructure for the same reason.

And here you have this guy Immortals, who knows nothing about what's happening in Ukraine, talking about how Ukraine doesn't receive much Western help. Jesus. Ukraine can't breathe 2 minutes without the West fully doing everything for it, except the dying by cannon fodder.

Showing Ukraine's drones pretending it's like a V1 from ww2? Everything Ukraine has is from the West. From bullets to artillery to drones to missiles to every single ISR and targeting information. It's called a proxy.

Iran does things themselves yes. Under heavy sanctions. And Iran even made things so good that the US copies it. Lucas drone? Lol. Get real. A bad copy btw.

And to the Italian, Russia is NOT the aggressor in the war. And even if it was, it doesn't matter to the question to use nukes or not. Russia has been a bigger more powerful Iran in the eyes of the West for over 200 years. They've wanted to destroy Russia for over 200 years. Whether through direct invasion, Nato expansion and now the proxy invasion, Russia has it's back against the wall. Russia has gone in 1945 from Eastern Germany in it's sphere of influence, to even Russian lands (Ukraine) being taken away and NATO being at it's doorstep. And you call that aggression? Russia, like Iran, fully has it's back against the wall and has no ROOM to retrat. Get that through that head of yours.

And if you don't think Russia is under existential threat, you have zero analytical skills. Less than zero even. Go look at Georgia, the caucasus and nato expansion everywhere. Yeah not under existential theat.

Never have I come across a political class more proud of being swindled than these reformist dinosaurs.

❗️Iran’s Assembly of Experts issued a statement on the occasion of Arbaeen and following reports of negotiations

The Board reaffirmed its full support for the Leader of the Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, and called upon all officials to demonstrate practical adherence to his guidance.

The statement:
“The wise, insightful, hopeful and dignified messages of the Leader of the Revolution provide direction and guidance for the honourable people of Iran and the Islamic nation, and must remain at the forefront of the country’s officials’ considerations.”

Referring to repeated violations of the MoU by the US:
“Trusting this arrogant government is nothing more than a mirage. Placing hope in reaching an understanding or agreement with this bullying regime will lead nowhere. Any action aimed at securing the nation’s rights must be carried out within the framework of the Leader’s views, guidance and strategic decisions.”

The Assembly of Experts also referred to calls for surrender by alarmists and conspirators made under the guise of defending peace. It described such as an unforgivable betrayal and stressed that legally confronting such actions is an unquestionable duty of the responsible authorities.

How much power do the Assembly of Experts have in Iran? Can they overrule the decisions of the reformist-dominated institutions?

The statement does look like Araqchi, Qalibaf, and perhaps Pezeshkian were put in notice.
