Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

you fought with iraq for 8 years cuz u executed a lot of your officers during the revolution.
again, Iraq wasn't strong , you were just kinda fragile during that era , but now everything changed.

excuse me if i accuse you wrongfully, but are you a pahlavist?

It was Shah’sTen of Billions Pounds of modern Arsenal he bought from US. It’s funny , he never used them but after he was overthrown , Iran did use the weapons to defend themselves in the Iran and Iraq war so in a sense, the Shah was right in buying the weapons …. 😊

Yes, we did try to purchase them, but the Russians have refused to deliver a single jet to Iran since 2021.

Even after we signed a contract with the Russians, the Russians were supposed to deliver the first batch of our orders in March. 6 months later, nothing has happened.
Iran has no friends. China's 5 million bpd reduction in oil purchases was one of, if not the main determining factor in the failure of the Strait blockade.

Sorry but what Iran has done against the Jordanians for the past few decades, to against Morrocans, or against plethora of Arab states?

Iran has supported non-state and anti-state elements involved in terrorism in most of these countries, including Pakistan. Please hold off on the rhetoric, we know exactly how clean everyone is in this cesspit.

I understand that Wahabi insipred hatred against Shias is a recent phenomenon but the under currents have always been there.

Shias welcomed Mongols to Baghdad
Shais sided with Crusaders
Shias backstabbed Turkish Ottoman
Shia allied with Colonialists
and on and on

Much worse examples on both sides.

You can see the sectarian nonsense based on miniscule and meaningless differences of belief on this very thread, from both ends, including your previous post.

Even if Iran did what it is accused of, there was enough manufactured history to justify events like the sack of Karbala and Najaf by Ikhwanis/Wahabbis in the last 19th century.

A disgusting act draped in deceitful sectarian rhetoric hiding their financial and political aims. I don't care for meaningless associations and I demand that you do the same. There are just as many examples of the exact same hate and accompanying acts of villainy on the other side. Pretending that they don't exist is disingenuous. I won't start listing them here because I am not naive enough to allow some Sunnis here to use them as fuel against your statements. But if you insist then I can list them, no problem.

That manufactured history you spoke of, you just attempted to create your own in your previous post. That too for another country and people who have nothing to offer you beyond the geopolitical stake your country has in them.

The only issue for these types is that Shias are now a force to be reckoned with.

They cannot do much now except this verbal diarrhea to vent their hate.

Shias are not and have never been a force to be reckoned with. Neither have Sunnis. Individual states have been, who happened to have majority populations of one or the other. Religious belief systems don't run armies, economies, or foreign policy, and the differences in them don't serve more than as an excuse to calm our own failings through otherization. If we refrain from leaning on these meaningless differences spread by snake oil selling hacks, then our individual countries, not sects, will be one step closer to becoming that force.

For all the pretentious nonsense of difference spread by them both, both are exactly as good and exactly as bad. Also, this pitching for some other team for meaningless and purely coincidental similarities is unappealing....but also purely a personal matter, so do as you must.

The Islamic Republic has an unfortunate way of choosing friends. At least, the Chinese have never been aggressive towards us in the past, but countries like Russia and Iraq have been our enemies in the past, even in the recent past, and yet the Islamic Republic never fails to sacrifice our interests for them.

I'm still waiting for somebody to tell me what we have received from Russia after risking our ties with the Europeans and selling thousands of UAVs to them. The Russians have modified Shahed-136 drones and refused to share their technology with us. Very interesting, isn't it?

That is besides the fact that the Russians have consistently refused to sell us jet fighters, they delayed S-300 sale to us when we needed them the most in 2009, and they passed 4 rounds of UN sanctions lasting indefinitely on Iran.

A whole lot is riding on mid terms. There is a lot of money pouring into primaries... the bottleneck to get only the approved candidates through in both parties... that is how Massie was removed from the republican ticket with an unknown AIPAC candidate... the most expensive primary in the history...

NY Times had a story on front page today saying AIPAC is spending twice the amount to the upcoming Midterms but trying to lessen the mention of 'Israel'. Just think about the sea change in America going on since the recent Israel-Gaza war. Netanyahu knows that and must be worried and hence this is his last chance to fulfill a lifetime ambition: Destroy Iran while Trump is the POTUS.

I think if iran gets a breathing room after this, they should be all over chinese jets like j-10s, awacs and possibly even j-35 to rebuild a formidable air force to deter israeli/us airforces, if iran had j-10s with pl-15 supported by long range awacs, israeli airforce wouldn't dare come anywhere in the 500km radius of iran.

You can give Iran all those goodies but they will need a long time of training and air war planning. India had more than Pakistan's air force in May 2025 conflict but the PAF prevailed because of decades long meticulous planning and training.
Iran is going to need extended peace for such an Air force otherwise through sabotage and occasional bombing, the jets would be destroyed.

exactly , same case with Iraq in 80s and 90s , a lot of gears but zero experience , that's why they lost nearly every single battle they engaged.

Unfortunately unless Iran nukes Washington or sink an aircraft carrier or brings down towers, US is never going to be serious in negotiations

I'm wondering throughout these so called 'negotiations,' there have been no mention of Lebanon. Did we throw them under the bus or something? Why then did we drag those poor people into this conflict?

Apparently, if the "negotiations" succeed, there will be an addendum to the MoU about the Strait of Hormuz. The issue of Lebanon has already been covered in the MoU.
