Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

I say converted third world people and many here take serious offense to that statement/ narrative.

Many here don't realize that centuries of colonization has shaped their culture/ politics and they are ashamed now and don't want to discuss it.

Yeah, many people just don't want to admit it.

For example, China was the originator of the Sinosphere civilization, and Japan/Korea/Vietnam were all derivatives of that civilization. However, none of them would admit it and believe it is a serious affront to their own cultural identity.

Iran was also an originator of civilization, and most Chinese nationalists are paying huge respect to Iran's resilience to the invasion.

Majority of dis is Iraqi crude.

Look at oil recovery charts. Nearly all the PGCC are back to pre war levels including Kuwait, Iraq, UAE, and Bahrain.

Everyone is selling oil besides Iran. Mojtaba is continuing this strategic patience bullshit legacy as his father.

I’m tired of blaming reformists. Or Qalibaf. This entire system is complacent in this war and the only people suffering are the people who have to wait in long lines for fuel and watch food inflation go up and up.

It’s like these guys don’t realize the country is in a existential war and think this is some type of border skirmish or some shit.

When did Iranians become pacifist country? They are like the Japanese these days.

I believe Iran's got almost exclusive control on what comes in or goes out of the PG no?

It well n truly is an enviable position no?

But we read something different in important media. Who is telling the truth ?

Oil executives have been stating this since March or April. And no one has been listening. They aren't wrong. Just look at US SPR levels. They continue to drop.

Depending on which source you want to believe, the Saudi E-W pipeline could be offline as much as 7 weeks the damage was that severe. Some of the optimistic reports are saying 2-3 weeks. The engineers probably know for sure by now. Pending a report from them, I'd lean towards the 7 week timeline. And, that doesn't take into account any further strikes on the pipeline.

Given the conflicting reports, the skeptic in me is leaning toward the very bottom of what is being reported as passing through the Strait at the moment.

We've been hearing about "temporary disruption" for 6 months now and now we're hearing prices will come down after the midterms. How's that been working so far?

Strait of Hormuz is only closed in your head.

Looking at various tracking will tell you at least 10MBPD is leaving the strait up from 5MBPD when MoU collapsed. Tankers are no longer scared of Iran. Iran has had difficulty striking them or is refraining for whatever reason.

Shortfall could be as little as 2-3MBPD (not counting Iranian oil that went exclusively to China). But let’s say double that (5MBPD) is the shortfall. That is not enough to collapse the U.S. or petrodollar or global economy.

So Iran has a decision to make because as I been saying for last 8 weeks, its leverage is eroding. Oil being at $105 isn’t going to cut it.
it's not only a matter of to be closed or open one day.

see crude oil barrel prices and compare to Feb 27th to know if situation is normal: it's not at all.

And naive people on here think Democrats (or as Trump calls them ‘Dumocrats’) are going to end the war if they win midterms

More anti-war, anti Israel, anti AIPAC congressmen and women are expected to join the US Congress this year. At least in the House, things are changing. Pelosi is a corporate Democrat and an AIPAC shill. Her views don't reflect the Democratic base and the country as a whole

🇺🇸 President Trump: "Some people, very mistaken people, say we haven't defeated Iran. I say we've totally defeated Iran, we hit them so hard they don't even know what hit them. There was that guy, Muhammad Ali, who was a really good boxer, I knew that guy, he used to hit people really hard and we hit Iran just as hard as he did."

(The quote above is fake and was created for comedic rather than informational purposes)

EDIT:
🇺🇸/🇮🇷 NEW: Iran’s air defenses have shot down another U.S. MQ-1C ‘Gray Eagle’ drone over the Strait of Hormuz

so the US will start buying oil again at these high prices, driving prices up?

thats an interesting take!

US financial firms excel at curbing prices due to speculation

in other words, USA has let go manufacturing ability for the ability to trade speculative financial trades/products.

these products for instance, cross currency swap and fX swaps appeared on the surface to determine the dollar borrowing needed by holes caused by SPV trading of toxic assets in 2008! (which essentially got popular before the GFC!)

so, question here is not the timing of the purchase, rather, the ability to use foreign branches of USA banks trade against such a price, to decrease the reason of speculation!

GCC promised US 5 trillion in investments, I guess that and the petrodollar is at risk now hmm? Explains the issue with the treasury bonds and debt.

Reports and leaked claims suggest the Trump administration demanded up to $5 trillion from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states in connection with the conflict in Iran, alongside broader multi-trillion-dollar investment pledges. [1, 2]

Alleged Iran Conflict Demands
    • The Claim: Leaks cited in media reports alleged that the U.S. administration pressured Gulf allies for massive financial payouts. [1, 2]
    • The Numbers: Reports claimed a demand of $5 trillion if Gulf states wanted a conflict with Iran to continue, or $2.5 trillion to make the U.S. stop the military campaign. [1, 2]
    • The Context: Gulf governments publicly opposed the conflict and faced economic and infrastructural fallout from retaliatory strikes, leading to regional strains. [1, 2]

Broader Investment Pledges
    • Global Commitments: Various U.S. allies previously made infrastructure and industry investment pledges totaling over $5 trillion to secure tariff relief or economic partnerships. [1]
    • GCC Share: GCC countries collectively accounted for a large portion of these long-term commitments. [1]
    • Reassessment: Economic pressure, shipping disruptions, and the cost of regional conflicts have led Gulf economies to review or consider scaling back these outward investment plans. [1, 2]
