Israel, Russia and US are always the only powers in the modern era with killer instincts, no fear of death or ending the world and zero fear to escalate to the max. These three are also much more religious than East Asian powers, Western European powers. Middle Eastern powers/theocracies lack the weight, influence and military strength to initiate wars against these powers and are always either the targets, victims or vassals of these three (in this case just two - US and Israel).

US and Israel are also both economically, politically and militarily powerful and influencial globally. Xi and China + Chinese generally are extremely afraid of war and confrontation. Immortal is 100% right about China being capable but completely 100% ball-less cowards in the sense of never wishing to escalate or bring things to the max. Chinese people have extreme fear of death.

Modern Chinese leaders and children are so afraid of even losing material status and wealth let alone their lives. China will always avoid war and western powers know this very well and know they can always push China around quite far and to quite an extreme and unfair degree. This has always been true throughout history and western and Israeli elite classes are cunning, learned people unlike their general population.
