Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Iran has prepared to its best ability to be able to absorb an US/Israeli attack plus retain strike capabilities on top of absorbing those attacks.

It did not prepare for a US limited ground ops in context of trying to actually repel such offensives. It cannot do that on those islands and coastal areas. The areas are large empty barren land and mountains. They cannot defend them without AA even with limited AA capabilities it would be a big struggle.

Instead they'd opt for trying to raise cost of such ops by striking at GCC infrastructure and maybe on Israel.

Trump is not taking ground op route because Arabs refuse to be a staging ground for that right now and US army and government is respecting that decision up until now.

Iranian asymmetrical tactics also helped it retain strike capabilities against region. Mostly GCC and Saudi area unclear if they have anything up their sleeves for Israel but they haven't used their maximum capacity. And they likely have a large capacity than what is known to public, but US army and government is aware of it of that probability and taking it into account.

Now if the resumption of war happens every few months while naval blockade and economic warfare continues, it's setting up a opportunity for limited ground ops in next year or two. However, there is no strategic objective to that if Iranian population doesn't revolt as US army won't be used for regime change war/occupation Iraq style.

Thus it may not happen at all. Netanyahu and Israel never had a credible regime change plan that doesn't involve dragging the US into a occupation regime change long term and costly war. Which is why Trump allowing them to start the war was a mistake as they were already cooperating on nuclear profile. Trump administration knew for a fact Israel doesn't actually have a credible plan for anything but still went ahead.

So we're back to zero where plan is now to get Iran back into a nuclear agreement deal but try to coerce them into giving up enriched uranium and any demand for sovereignty over SOH.
For anyone confused on US objective. I will tell what you it is clearly :

1.) Get Iran to give up enriched uranium plus low grade enrichment for energy purposes only

2.) Restrictions on Iranian nuclear program (such as rebuilding some of it if possible )

3.) Dropping demand to monetize SOH or establish sovereignty over it

4.) Potential restrictions on ballistic missile program

^^

Tying all the above with releasing frozen assets + reconstruction funds for Iran.

^^^

Iran thus will continue to threaten navigation in SOH, demand to monetize it, will refuse restrictions on ballistic missile program, will refuse sending enriched uranium out of country and will refuse limitations on nuclear program

A new round of US/Israeli strikes won't weaken Irans position by much. Simply because it doesn't need to do any of that. It literally doesn't. It's not out of stubborness it's that nobody is able enforce any of those conditions, realistically.

Israel sold out the USA and totally disappeared from the arena. Leaving American taxpayers and consumers having to deal with this impossible war (impossible to achieve intended objectives ).

It's truly cruel of Zionist ran US media to not demand that if Israel wants us to fight it's wars that it should deploy tens of thousands of its troops in them

Trump: Destroying Iran is the only path to global peace

Donald Trump, who styles himself as a "president of peace," stated in an interview with TIME magazine that eliminating Iran is necessary to achieve worldwide stability. When reminded of this contradiction, he argued that peace with Iran is impossible and that destroying the regime would establish peace globally.

Meanwhile, IRGC is quoting the Bible in 100 page letters to the average American slob, thinking this has even a remote impact on Trump's psychopathy and compromised existence.

Even the regime knows that it's Game Over for them now, yet they're not going to give up Iran's resources until some place in Iran gets nuked.

Fighting the US without a proper AD and without the ability to hit where it would hurt the most will be a losing battle for Iran as it will never change the US mindset of hitting Iran at the slightest whim of Israel now that they have got the taste for it.
I can only hope that Iran was able to restore some of its lost AD capabilities last year.
Secondly now that Iran showed it's capacity and capability to hit all US bases across the middle east, next inline should be the US base in the UK and Diego Garcia.
If US goes nuclear on Iran, the chances of which under Trump are very very high, Iran should have a plan to launch chemical weapons on Israel to ensure a mass casualty affect.
Iranians need to understand that this war is for their survival, and your enemies are immoral who did not even spared school kids, so killing Isareli civilians should be a fair game.
Yes the Israelis will retaliate with a nuclear weapon but by then Iran would already be under US nuclear attack. So this argument should be moot.
I can only hope that Mujataba develops some sense and revokes the self imposed fatwa by his late father for not developing nuclear weapons.

all the signs indicate that a resumption of war is close

IRI's new offensive doctrine nowhere to be seen

let alone Rezaee's threat to take military action to break the naval blockade after 45 days (which has now passed)

IRI is largely seen as a paper tiger now but we can only hope they are using this time to build as many weapons as possible

It is one thing to have weapons, and it is a whole other thing to be able to use them.

When you walk on the street, there are plenty of people that you can beat the crap out of them in an argument. But you don't do that because you're afraid of the consequences and going to prison. The same thing applies to the Ayatollahs.

They have missiles, and they can produce more. But they won't be able to use them because the cost of using those missiles against actual targets is too much.

This is why I insisted for years that Iran without nuclear deterrence is not capable of targeting Israel or even Arabs. Even if Iran has the world's most accurate long-range missiles, we won't be able to use them against the US Navy, Israel or Arabs without nuclear deterrence.

The Iranian regime may not be all that great, but the alternative being put forward is a puppet government in the pay of the US and Israel, whose second move – after abandoning the Palestinians, Yemenis and Lebanese to their fate – will be to sign documents renouncing nuclear capabilities – in any form – long-range missiles, control of the Strait of Hormuz and sovereignty over its own oil resources.

Trump is retarded. Don't take him seriously. He literally said Iran was making drugs in its nuclear facilities.

Yeah nuclear medicine (prescription drugs) is a thing. Someone in a briefing probably told him that certain nuclear isotopes were being used for medicine inside Iran and he is too dumb to understand and just went with they are making drugs at nuclear facilities .

Personally I don't see US facing any kind of nightmare scenario on the ground besides making the objective too large to where it requires a heavy number of ground forces which is not an option in 2026 as they need to be in ready state for any conflicts that can pop off with China and in Europe with Russia. Dedicating US manpower in Middle East is the biggest mistake that the US can't afford to do for those reasons.

Not because Iranian army is capable of inflicting massive casualties on US ground forces. I don't believe they are. US pilot being rescued from inside Iran is one example.

I'm not convinced that Iranian army can contend well against a modern military force with massive funding. Saddam's army couldn't. Irans army won't be able to defend coastal areas without AA, armored vehicles, control over their airspace, etc ....

The threat to US forces would mostly be mines/other anti armor + infantry weapons. Drones will not do much neither artillery against US forces.

Only reason they haven't considered taking Kharg Island, for example, is because neighboring Arab nations are not cooperating in acting as staging base for invasion.
Iran would have no choice but to go underground and do assymetrical warfare. FPV drones weren't used in Iraq or Afghanistan but they have been very deadly as shown in ukraine because it is easily operated and can strike soft targets of tanks (from above or even tracks) let alone US patrols.

Iran also has good ability to operate guerilla warfare from the mountains and utilise snipers and fpv drones and IEDs which can cause a lot of casualties also.

But conventionally Iran would have to abandon tanks and artillary etc unless they want to be pummeled as big targets for US

Who are you to determine our fate and what's good for us? I'm so tired of foreigners putting the fear in us about an alternative government. Worry about your country instead, or better yet, maybe you can start advocating for Italians to fill in our shoes? But I bet you won't. An interesting thing I noticed about certain hypocrites is that you want us to do x, y, and z but none of your nations are willing to make the sacrifices we make. You continue to sit your asses on the sidelines dictating our future while content with the benefits your reap with the Western World.

I am no expert, just my humble opinion.

Trump is deeply compromised by Israel, be it Epstein files/tapes, corruption. He no longer cares about American public opinion and it's his last term.

The task he is being used for is to make sure Israel dominance and rule over middle east and is promised no consequences and a lavish life with all his loot.

So for Trump either Iran becomes a minion of Jews like the rest or Iran has to be passified.

Rest is all noise.

good news for Iran. Fed unlikely to increase rates given weaker jobs market. Meaning bond markets will continue to punish Fed by dumping treasuries, increasing yields of US debt.
