Writing seems to be on the wall. They'll dump GCC in a few years. It explains the US expansion north (Greenland) and South (Latin America). US wants those resources and GCC is now net negative for them as it requires many military resources to protect them which they wanna move else where and they haven't budged on Israel issue. GCC leadership may still be in denial but this is where it looks to be heading.Exactly. Any oil firm with a contract in South America, e.g. Chevron in Venezuela particularly, will be rubbing their hands in excitement at every Hormuz tanker set alight.
What are Arabs good for unless they’re lining the pockets of politicians to keep them safe in power is what your sayingWriting seems to be on the wall. They'll dump GCC in a few years. Are you sure about that? lolIran can survive without oil.
Arabs and Gulfies cannot.
Arabs also had a large civilization before oilRemember, Iran was a prosperous civilisation long before oil.
Without oil Arabs were piss poor.
If US leaves ME Iran will certainly try to export a lot of oil. You assume that Iran will accelerate into a golden age immediately but mis governance/security threats can prevent that. Nothing is guaranteed. A big chunk of Irans gdp is attributed to oil exports as well.Iran needs USA out of ME more than it needs oil.
Iran can grow without oil.
Iran cannot grow by being a US bootlicker like its neighbours.
Nation building ?What are Arabs good for unless they’re lining the pockets of politicians to keep them safe in power is what your saying
What makes you think these countries are irrelevant? Provide objective data or even your subjective opinion. 'They're irrelevant because we hate them' isn't a strong argument.
I believe the pact will survive and continue to evolve not as a NATO style alliance but on a deeper mutual cooperation basis.
Lawrence of Arabia is a British movie, it’s not a civilisation.Arabs also had a large civilization before oil
