Interesting they do not claim hits on Bavar-373 which are probably more numerous now 5 years after the system came into service.

Does this means that they only had reach of S-300 or maybe the Bavar-373 is a much better system and managed to shoot down all incoming projectiles?

The fact that the damage is minor and Iran is able to repair already suggests that no critical systems like radars were hit.

Israel is talking a lot of nonsense. Their main target was some radars in Khuzestan and Ilam.

They were probably attacked with HARM missiles.

If im Iran and I have advance warning I would put those Tomcats up into Iraqi airspace to scan for incoming aircraft. That no doubt would also complicate the mission for the Israelis.

Other thing I was wondering does Iran have any air launched BMs or long range stand off weapons?, if so a good way to hit Israeli air defences.

Israeli jets in Iraq stayed 100km away from Iran's borders and were protected by the USAF as well. F-14s travelling that far from Iranian airspace to challenge them is a bad idea

It would make no difference as the Zionist aircraft stayed 100km away from the border with Iran over Iraq.

Even the Iranian modernised F-14 has no chance to fight against the escorting Zionist F-35s.

It would have been suicidal for the Tomcats to rush into Iraq and try to shoot down the attacking Zionist planes.

The fact that the damage is minor and Iran is able to repair already suggests that no critical systems like radars were hit.

It does suggest that if you are buying new SAM systems, you want more redundancy in your radar emitters, than launchers/missiles as the radar emitters can be easily targetted. SEAD has come on along way for sure it seems.
