I believe Iran has been preparing for a war against the American led international rule based order since the end of the holy defence war. Iran's industrial base is highly underestimated. There's a reason why Iran is one of the largest electricity consumers in the world. Hopefully this due to undeclared industrial activity. 1000 missiles a month for 30 years adds up to a lot of missiles. I don't believe 1000 missiles production rate is an unbelievable number especially. Considering that no one believe that Iran had the ability to produce millions of shells and tens of thousands of drones I wouldn't bet against Iran. I for one hope that all of us who believe will be pleasantly surprised as we've been my TP operations and Iran's AD ability.

There is no way on earth that Iran has HALF A MILLION ballistic missiles. Do some maths:

The ballistic missiles are also very costly. Even if we give huge discount and assume that one intermediate range ballistic missile costs only 0.5 million dollar. Then that means half a million ballistic missiles will cost 2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS!!

Why you guys make such statements ?

Iran definitely doesn't have over 100,000 ballistic missiles, including short range missiles.

But 500,000 missiles each costing half a million dollars would be 250 billion dollars, not 2.5 trillion dollars.

Iran might have 50,000 missiles. That would add up to 20-25 billion dollars which is pretty doable for Iran over a period of 2-3 decades.

How easy will it be for US satellites to track missile launches from underground silos or missile farms? (Before it happens) Can they do it before we launch them?

for a big number of launches we need to move the missiles into launch areas outside of the underground missile areas, and it takes time, they will be detected by the USA for sure. last time they detected them at least 3-4 hours in advance of launch

I think mole in Iran are more useful for US/Israel than satellites.

Iran needs to increase its air defense capability production rate.

Also Laser air defenses for PGMs and small drones needs to be fast tracked rather than relying on AA guns to blanket the sky’s and hope for the best.

Also these quadcopters need to be dealt with somehow, how is there so many Israeli agents in Iran with access to dozens (hundreds?) of quadcopters. I mean that’s a major security flaw. These aren’t your typical off the shelf quadcopters and are likely military grade.

Wouldn’t be jets it would be Israeli secret drone with munitions flying in areas where Turkish AD is not strong or looking for intrusion. You forget eastern Turkey is extremely mountainous which blocks radar and hides objects. A stealth wing fighter can easily get lost in that topography.

And yes you cannot discount the fact that Israeli elements inside Azerbaijan launched the munitions without Azeri knowledge. Same way Israeli elements inside Iran launched the quadcopters. Israeli likely has hundreds of agents inside Azerbaijan secretly working to set up covert elements to assist with attack on Iran.

Iran knows this and has mentioned it as well to Azerbaijan.
