We have a limited window to retaliate Israeli attack. It has to be done before the US election in my opinion.

There’s a 2+ month period before the new president is inaugurated. Elections are on Nov 5, inauguration is on Jan 20, 2025. During that time Biden will still be president.

I also think the entity can also only reliably deliver warheads of like only 250kg from missiles as they cannot get their planes over Iranian targets due to Iranian IADS.

Iran on the other hand can deliver warheads from 750kg-1.5tonnes on their ballistic missiles.

Since Israel attacked manufacturing sites for ballistic missiles, why would israeli sites that produce cruise missiles and air launched ballistic missiles that can be used to attack Iran, not be in scope logically ?

Mate, their first strike on Iranian soil was a very calculated and political move.

They reserved the energy facilities and the nuclear facilities for later on Incase IR wants to escalate.

If you want to hold Israel back, if you want to punch them in a way that shatters their reality you have to inflict mass casualty events on them.

If TP1 inflicted severe casualties and damage they would never have went ahead with Haniyeh and Nasrallah operation. It's all about deterrence.

But IR lost deterrence against Israel a long time ago. Most people don't even know that it started in the early 00's when they started the assassinations and sabotages. Lack of response from IR escalated into this situation you are seeing today.

Hezbollah fighting the army and killing Lebanese is character assassination. It would demonize them. Nasrallah was a populist and ensuring Hezbollah had popular support was paramount to him. If he wanted to, Hezbollah could easily have done a coup and installed themselves as the legitimate government. Maybe with the new leader it will be different.

Israel planned a much larger operation. First SEAD and then striking more targets (why else would they need 100s of aircraft?). This would have included sending in their F35s well into Iran.

Iran repelled this and so they had to downscale the attack. You could see the disappointment on their faces. This would also explain the months of planning.

Those that are linking timings and scale of attacks to the elections are onto a red herring quite frankly. That is of no relevance to the mad dog.

Everything is in scope.

But Iran cannot escalate. If it does, US will join in the attack.

US has assured - it will not be directly involved as long as Iran does not escalate.

The firepower means US will ultimately prevail albeit at great cost.

Status quo is maintained because Iran doesn’t want to get destroyed and US doesn’t want to bear the cost.

But Israel is trying every trick to break the status quo.

If the US stayed out - Iran would destroy Israel in 48 hours.
