preemptive attack on USA give mad men in USA free ticket to start total war with Iran ....
we should just stall them till the end of summer , either they the west get over with Iran nuclear program and accept Iran as DeFacto nuclear power , or they use trigger mechanism and then we can ( if the senile coward decision maker let ) exist NPT and go nuclear ....
Our best bet is to get Su-35 , S400 so we be able to start propaganda campaign and stall negotiation with USA till they 3 summer ... ( showing our own give Trump administration new propaganda feed to accelerate their plan of attacking Iran )

I think you are overlooking the gravity of the situation.
Trump has literally given Iran an ultimatum.
Sign a deal with his conditions (worse than JCPOA) in 2 months, or they will bomb Iran.
The IR should prepare for the war scenario. Even if they sign a deal with them, it will only be to defang Iran militarily. Netanyahu is going to the US to tell Trump to have the most extreme requests, similar to what they offered to Ghaddafi and he accepted their terms in fear.

They can't even implement basic economic formulas for inflation.
Inflation in large cities is over 60% while interest rate is still 24%. Why would any idiot keep their money in banks in an economy like this?

I give them more latitude than most people about role of US sanctions in this situation
when country is threatened with war by world's sole hyper power, currency will naturally not do well
then you add in decades of corruption and mismanagement as well and you get the current situation
Hajizadeh spoke about increase of govt funding and missile production, Bagheri spoke about implementing operations much larger than TP2 (suggesting 500-1000 missiles at once), so these are positive, but only time will tell

Yes their gas and oil infrastructure is heavily sanctioned so nuclear power is very helpful, but IMO this isn't the primary reason. The main reason is to have the knowhow and material to break out into a nuclear state if an existential crisis erupts.
I think we are not there yet, if there are signs of US military build up for an attack on Iran which would have over 100k US troops in regionalong with hundreds of air craft, Iran would need to go nuclear, no ifs or buts.
Caving into a serial liar and taking a deal which means you have no leverage and possibility of full sanctions again plus no major deterrent would be stupid. If you dont believe me ask Ukraine.

The US is no longer the world's sole hyper power. Not in science, not in tech, not even militarily.
The Iranian currency has suffered from devaluation since day 1. It has nothing to do with the US sanctions. Even when the JCPOA was in place, nothing changed for the Iranian currency.
The Ayatollahs are simply incompetent when it comes to basic economic theories. They just don't get it. Just like Erdogan doesn't get it. Even Afghanistan is not experiencing a similar phenomenon and the Taliban is not recognized by most countries in the world.

A reasonable conclusion to reach after observing Iran's responses to prior escalations. The only cost of such a strike is the financial cost involved in carrying it out.
