The fact there is not proof of even 1 Israeli aircraft being downed means Iran’s air defense network was absolutely garbage and fully infiltrated. Likely because these idiots used Microsoft Windows as their OS C&C.

The Iranian leadership has squandered enormous chances and made huge blunders. In time of peace a country prepares in the best possible way for war. With the oil and gas resources that Iran possesses, a powerful air force with modern fighter jets could have been acquired. So much more could have been done to prepare for this day. Iran has no option for now, but to continue to counterattack Israel. Simply because it doesn't want to become a subservient client state where the West and Israel call the shots. The moment Iran gives in, the Israelis will claim victory and demand talks on their terms.

At the end of the day when the West decides that enough is enough talks might follow. These talks will take into account conditions from both sides.

Everyone is underestimating Iran if you go by their history alone.

• They endured US/Israel sponsored bombings done by Iraq, all oilfields destroyed, every day for 8 years and never surrendered until Saddam lost it all.
