There's no such thing as "Shia extremist", stop importing the problems of Sunni islam into Shia islam
Those "Persian chauvinists" lives in foreign countries and doesn't exist in Iran
I avoid discussion of sectarianism, however, any truthful discussion of Iran needs to take this into account. As the saying goes, it’s an elephant in the room that everyone is pretending isn’t there.
Every Muslim country has its religious extremists. In most countries it means Sunni extremism. In Iran it means Shia extremism. That’s all I mean to say. In Iran it adds to the sense of antagonism towards other Muslim countries that prevents alliances. On the ground we’ve seen how the whole Axis of Resistance consisted almost entirely of Shia groups.
On the other hand, those Iranians who go away from Islam go in the direction of identifying as Persians. I’m sure there are tons of them in Iran.
I know those are controversial things to discuss. But if we’re going to improve things it’s better to look at everything. Sometimes an outsider can see things more clearly. My suggestion is to cultivate moderation.
