If anything, Rafsanjani started all this by turning Iran into the slave of IMF and the World Bank.

Rafsanjani is behind opening modern markets in Iran, working women, and birthcontroll.—-> modern food supply means most Iranians eat garbage which is poisoning them for the profit of a few rich and most farmers went bankrupt. Feminism and working women meant the end of the Familiy, and the birthcontroll will destroy our demography completely. Iran will have in 100 years far few people than Pakistan, iraq, Afghanistan etc etc. so this man made humble Iranians with healthy lifestyles and good family’s into mindless consume junkies and hardcore individualist who would sell their grandma for a greencard. The biggest scam is that he was the man behind khameneis surprise Rahbarie. Iran is in every aspect a neoliberal state even celebraties, fashion, even dualist politic theaters like in the US. Honestly these are the real existential threats for Iran not any state or nuclear weapons.

after October 7th attacks, top Israeli intelligence and military leaders resigned

after 2006 war with Hezbollah, Israel admitted they failed to achieve their goals, and launched a public commission to fully investigate what went wrong

instead in Iran we have leaders trying to convince everyone that they won the war and we were on the brink of destroying Israel and if Israel didn't beg us for a ceasefire which we mercifully accepted out of the kindness of our heart (that has been threatening to destroy Israel for 40 years) we would have destroyed them any day now

weak countries try to pretend everything is fine and perfect, strong ones accept reality and fully investigate failures to ensure they are not repeated!

This is good point that I somehow miss in this constellation... Maybe councils are internal systematic management of Iranian cadres...but still something in taking responsibility of Iranian is missing... self-criticism is blessing to any society...

Iran/Zion war is start of new area of warfare which nowhere is safe for both sides, Russia/Ukraine is just preview ...

Ahmadinejad basically called out the idea of blindly following Khamenei. He said people shouldn’t just act like sheep because that doesn’t help anyone, including Khamenei himself. He thought it was totally fine to disagree with him and even important to challenge him, since he’s human and makes mistakes. By pointing those out, Ahmadinejad said, you’re actually helping him get better and smarter.

You mean a strong president.....we need presidents, not life long leaders....why even get rid of the shah if go and get another? Besides, it's the 21st century....isn't about time we act like a modern country?
Supreme leader......Velayat-e faqih, Assembly of Experts? Why not branches of government like the rest of the world? We need to run the country like a Big corporation....you have a division and a job to do, you can't do it...or you fail to do it, you're OUT! Bring in the next guy. Meritocracy, it worked for Napoleon, it still works in this century. These things are not new ideas....it's truism, all the other ways have been tested through trial and error.
Anyways, the point is....we got caught on the back foot, because we have leadership that doesn't know the enemy, doesn't know the world and geopolitics of the lands outside of the middle east. If they knew, all those guys would've been in safe houses.
Also, how many scientists have been killed in the past 20 yrs? By now a monkey would have learned to protect high value personnel by a special group of highly trained guards....with a refined planning and modus operandi, to move them around and make their schedule and movements unpredictable.
Here's one more tip....get rid of all Western phones and apps, at least on the government personnel phones and computers. Every piece of hardware and software should be vetted by a specialized branch of the intelligence dept.

We see how well Presidents have worked out for you in your adopted homeland!
