Such a system will return Iran to its actual economic potential of GDP rivaling France or Germany based upon HC sector alone which is currently just not working due to lack of investment, yeah the same amount that IRI wasted on arab militias in name of fighting Israel and US (500+ Billion USD). Let alone that, sanctions because of worshipping Palestinians, do not allow Iran to even sell its oil at full potential. Iran has worlds 4th or 5th largest STEM force so local heavy and high tech industry will rise up itself when free market investment and trade will be open again. Iran will be again on global power stage. Nukes, Sats, ICBMs, Airforce, SSBNs etc will be there themselves like responsible powers get them. No enemy of Iran wants that so they are silently supporting Khamenei and IRI, making sure Iran stays a crippled dysfunctional state with 1/10th of its actual potential GDP, with weak obsolete military because of self induced sanctions thanks to self immolation policies, facing brain drain of millions of youths disenchanted with their own nation. I heard a rumor about Qatar discussing the possibility of getting drone and missile production from Iran. I know, what you all will say....Fake news. But, I think there maybe a little truth to it, because the US supposedly turned them down cold, after they ask for support against Israel. They threatened the cancellation of 150 billion dollar Boeing order. Also, Larijani proposed a regional operation center to keep the Israeli aggression in check. In any case Netanyahoo is on record saying they will attack any country that harbors their enemies....which means, Turkey and Pakistan maybe on the menu.

It has been 3 months since the "12 day war" ended yet we have not seen IAF attack Iran once despite the Israeli assertion that they defeated Iran and have complete control over Iranian air space. At what other time in the experience of the last 2 years have we seen Israel take it easy on an adversary, let alone Iran who the Israelis call "the head of the snake". You think Israel stopped the war in 12 days because they said they wanted the war to last 2 weeks. When Israel said that they thought they would be successful in decapitating Iran's Political and Military leadership and remove the threat posed by Iran. Israel failed to accomplish its goals and Iran proved versatile enough to reestablish its chains of command and to Hit Israel back despite The protection afforded to Israel by U.S anti ballistic missile shield in theater. Why did Israel cut its stated "2 week" (14 days) operation 2 days short when It had not achieved its own goals? Why wouldn't Israel extend its operations beyond "two weeks" If Iran's Missile and drone retaliatory strikes had no real consequences for Israel? We know that if nothing else, it caused the Israeli society a lot of anxiety because they constantly had to scurry to Air raid shelters day and night over and over again. We know the U.S spent 150+ THAAD and 80+ SM-3 Anti-ballistic Missiles plus all the PAC-3s,David Slings, Arrow-2 and 3s that the Israelis fired without being able to stop Iranian missiles hitting Military and infrastructural targets in Israel every single day of the hostilities. Israel begged the U.S to militarily and hit Iran's hardened Nuclear infrastructure because of their own inability to do so and to put end the War. It was as clear as day just from the way Trump would talk down to Netanyahu to his own face, when he visited Washington DC after the cease fire. You and the "High IQ" people here can deny the facts all you want. Iran's biggest problem is that it Won the war (at a high cost financially, and a thousand Killed and many more injured) but the losers get to act like the winners and the winners who fought hard to stop the Israeli aggression against Iran are treated like losers by people like you who call Iran's great achievement "copium" . Iran won the war through sheer defiance and hard sacrifice, but through the weak signals given by Pezeshkian and his government, Iran is being forced to give concessions to those who attacked Iran preemptively but were prevented from achieve their goals by the Iranian nation that stood against them and gave the Israeli bully a bloody nose like it has never experienced before in its entire life!

You cannot compare tiny Lebanon, civil war Al Qaida controlled Syria, and poverty ridden Yemen to Iran. Iran's industrial size and geographic depth alone is enough to make it a challenge, regardless of how it responds to any aggression. Are you really wanting to compare Iran with these weak hapless arab states? That really sets the bar high...

Nobody here is denigrating the servicemen who have lost their lives. Rather the opposite. We talked about the recent interview that was aired; IRGC-ASF officers talking about losing 12 comrades to shoot a single missile. That is dedication and balls. The 13th soldier managed to launch it. But think tactically. That is much too high a price to pay.

I have not once said anything negative about any of the upper levels of command who lost their lives on the first day of the war, nor do I think Iran lost the war.

What I am saying is claiming victory and not acknowledging the difficult realities leads to dangerous complacency.

Israel DID openly bomb Tehran from day 1 to day 12. They are openly stating they are gearing up for round 2. Is any of this a lie?

AIr defences did not shoot down a single Israeli fighter jet, yet I.R. officials boasted about downing 2 F35s, capturing a female pilot, even going so far to tell the Russian ambassador. What kind of stupidity is this?

I get it you are frustrated. We are all still hot headed about the conflict. This whole forum has turned into a drama fest of people bitching about what should have been done, and so on. What's done is done.

Like you, I too would like to see an end to the complaining and negativity. I.R. is what we have right now. It's the system that is keeping the country held together. Many of us hate them, think they are retarded. Some of us still have faith in them, think they are brave. But they are the government. You work with what you have. They still deserve criticism.

I keep asking what can be done to rebuild and strengthen Iran's air defence network. I really would like to explore some ideas.

Maryam Rajavi and Reza Pahlavi are the well known faces of the opposition to the Islamic Republic. I agree with you that they represent a fringe minority of people inside Iran. Can you name an alternative to those low life scum bags that you want to see take the helm from Ayatollah Khamenei and the Islamic Revolution? You cannot replace an existing system with just fancy words like "Nationalist Democratic System" and other lofty terms. You need real people who can get the people behind them. It sounds to me from what I have read above like you want to overthrow the existing system first with the hope that competent Nationalist Patriots will manifest themselves to fill the vacuum created and not agents of U.S/Israeli secret services laying in wait. If that is true then in my opinion that is the real definition of "Low IQ" thinking! The last thing the Zionists world order wants to see is an independent, Militarily strong Iran with large Industrial base powered by its own huge energy reserves. There is no length that they would not go through to ensure that Iran becomes another Vassal state under their own thumb. We just saw the perfect example of this when Israel used "Rising Lion" for the Name of its failed Regime decapitation operation with the aim of installing that turd, Reza Pahlavi. With global anger mounting over the nearly two-year war in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Monday that Israel is facing a “kind of isolation” that could last for years, and has no choice but to stand on its own.
Speaking at a finance ministry conference, Netanyahu said Israel’s economy would need to adapt to “autarkic characteristics” – becoming more self-sufficient and less reliant on external trade.
“It’s a word I hate,” Netanyahu said, adding that it was he who had brought a “free-market revolution to Israel.”
One of the key industries facing isolation is weapons trade, he said, which may force Israel to avoid reliance on foreign arms imports.
“We’ll need to develop our weapons industry - we’re going to be Athens and super Sparta combined. We have no choice, at least for the coming years when we’ll be required to deal with these isolation attempts,” he said.
Netanyahu’s statements mark a rare acknowledgement of the massive international backlash Israel faces as it escalates its war in Gaza. He has refused to change course, despite warnings from the United Nations and others that a looming assault on Gaza City will lead to more death and destruction, and amid mounting accusations that Israel is committing genocide in the enclave, which Israel strongly denies.
Israel now faces partial or complete arms embargoes from France, the Netherlands, the UK, Spain, Italy and others due to its conduct in the Gaza war. The majority of its weapons imports however, come from the United States, which hasn’t placed any such restrictions – and has warned others from doing so. A Biden-era delay on a shipment of 2,000-pound bombs was quickly lifted by the Trump administration.
The Israeli public, hostage families, and even the military have opposed expanding the war over concerns it could endanger the hostages and worsen the humanitarian toll. But the prime minister has insisted on pressing ahead.



For years, Israel has been considered an economic powerhouse regionally and globally, driven in large part by its vaunted high-tech industry. But the war has had an economic impact and is already the longest and most expensive in the country’s history.
Netanyahu partly attributed the isolation to “an extreme Islamist agenda” which he claimed had a “very negative influence” on European foreign policy. He also said rival states – “among them Qatar” – have shaped global discourse on social media, which “puts us into a kind of isolation.”
“This situation threatens us with the beginnings of economic sanctions and problems importing weapons and weapon parts,” Netanyahu said.
‘There will be no second chance’
Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid slammed Netanyahu in response, dubbing his statement that Israel is entering isolation as “crazy.”
“Isolation is not fate; it is the result of Netanyahu’s flawed and failed policy,” Lapid wrote on X.
Gadi Eisenkot, the former Israeli military chief planning a political run, also blasted the prime minister, saying, “There will be no second chance to repair the damage caused by him and his partners who abandoned the hostages and isolated Israel in the world.”
Later on Monday, Netanyahu addressed the “pessimists” about the economy, saying Israel’s stock market is the “strongest in the world.”
“Investing in Israel is the smart thing to do,” he said in a statement, adding that Israel would continue to increase investments in weapons production to avoid dependence on “weak Western European leaders who surrender to extreme Muslim minorities in their countries.”
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich appeared to echo the prime minister’s statement, posting to X that the stock market is rising, inflation is falling, and commending the country’s management of the economy amid the war in Gaza.
Earlier Monday, Netanyahu spoke alongside US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who lavished praise on “the friendship that Israel has shown towards the United States on so many issues we’ve worked on together that extend beyond the causes of war and peace.”
The two criticized a number of countries, including France, Canada, Australia and others that are set to recognize a Palestinian state ahead of the United Nations General Assembly this month.
