If Iran never took US embassy hostages and never explicitly was hostile toward Israel, it could have first built up its economy (and military) until it was powerful enough and so integrated into the world economy that cutting it off would be like cutting of your own arm. Then it could set its own foreign policy. But by showing your hand from the onset that you think America is the DEVIL and Israel is apartheid then what did you expect? You don’t think China thinks the same? But at least Chinese have more than two brain cells to know you can’t build your country when you are overtly hostile and you don’t have the upper hand.

Delivery of Mig-29s is logically more feasible as Russia does not need them in Ukraine, it does however need the Sukhois for use in Ukraine. However, Mig29s wont give Iran the range needed to interdict the IDF IAF operating over Iraq.

From a military point of view, Iran is under imminent threat. Noone has info if Iran has rebuilt its missile capabilites, developed/bought launchers, missile factories, AD systems etc.

That's exactly my thoughts.
Our air force was nowhere to be seen when Israel attacked us.
I'm afraid the same will happen to our navy and ground forces if the US launches a ground invasion. Maybe some loyal Basij or IRGC forces would fight back, but how many people will choose to fight for a lost cause when they see their leaders do not want to fight back at all?

The Ayatollahs have shown no spine in the last 3 months. They accepted every type of humiliation that the West threw at us and are still doing the same. This is very demoralizing.

Iran will fight back no doubt, but Usa with its sorties will destroy airforce. Navy, tanks within a few weeks. It will end up like an Iraqi style of war but more devastating for Usa. No invasion will take place, Usa/zionists will slowly grind Iran down, dismantle it's military capabilities, destroying economy, they are hoping some internal fight takes place.

Iran has no choice but to submit, the whole western world is after them and the zionist and Muslim zionists have a sword on Iranian neck. Iranian leadership must be realising all those big anti Usa and Zionist statements are finally hurting them, the economy is in shambles, airforce non existence, navy non existence, missile force is decent but failed to protect Iran during 12 days war and another war is around the corner. Iran as someone suggested is buying time but the western world also knows this, slowly they are tightening the noose.

The positive for Iran is China Russia have used some diplomatic pressure to defend Iran, Pakistan for some reason was being aggressive, so they have some support in this part of the world and have those who don't want Iran to be destroyed, the economic interests are another advantage. If only Iran is willing to tone down their aggressive stance to a diplomatic one, continue to work with international players on nuclear energy, then slowly win Chinese Russian support to remove sanctions, build a good military force to defend themselves. I can't see any other way out for Iran.

Well, I don't want to stick up for this sorry ass lot, but if you think about it, by leaving the NPT we will be playing into the Zionist narrative....they want to tell the world look at Iran, what are they trying to hide....etc. We can do whatever we need whilst staying in the agreement.
