I'm posting this not to pick sides in the Russia argument....although I believe Russians are actively engaged in double dealings....
But I think you're both right, Russia is an unreliable ally, probably of the worst kind, and we had leadership failures that not only didn't address this, or see this, but they inadvertently helped them in their task.

There is no ship carrying Iranian gas that has been "sunk", there is no record.

At the same time this fake news came out, another one came out claiming the Houthis were shooting down several ships (which they had promised to stop if the attacks on Gaza stopped)... The Houthis reported that they did not attack any ships.

Everything being posted on this forum is Jewish-Zionist fake news, with no evidence, sources, or anything. It's all Jewish-Zionist narrative, not only about Iran but also about many other topics.

Next time Israel will do worse, they can destroy military bases, weaponary, ports and even economy facilities if Iran hurts Israel alot. Iran needs an airforce or atleast some kind of powerful bomb to protect itself if faced with an invasion or existence threat.

But will Israel have enough Air defense interceptor missiles to actually intercept enough Iranian missiles in the next round? I doubt it!

That's probably why Israel told Russia to tell Iran ot doesn't want war- its a stalling tactic to give US more time to produce enough interceptor missiles, which it most likely cant do in a short time either. Iran is better off going on the offensive asap if possible, because IT IS ALREADY AT WAR, so it might as well choose to fight at a time that works best for it.

Iran really should understand that if it doesn't enter war now and sustain it for wear down its adversaries and use its advantage- large and unmatched ground forces(relative to US and Israel),its odds of winning its next clash is much lower. A losing or winning war will be costly for Iran regardless, but better to win after paying a high cost, esp in lives.

they only quoted UK MTO (another credible source which was never doubted when they reported on Houthis hitting ships) to say the ship was hit by an unknown projectile

Do you know how much- at least probably 100s of $ millions, of weapons (Shahed 136s and many rockets and fateh type missiles, even if Russia didnt fire them yet at nazi Ukraine)Russia bought from Iran for its war on Ukraine? That's been a good benefit for Iran also- Iran has many weapons to export and earn good money for but no country in modern times has probably paid as much for Iranian weapons as Russia did. Russia is partially dependent on Iran, especially for weapons, because its in a very serious war, Iran isn't, at least not yet.

But Iran has a small but very potent advantage(hopefully) in round 2 against israel- Israel's internal sabotage network in Iran has been exposed and degraded considerably (iranians made over 2m calls to their police about suspicious people after the 12 day war), so that element ,including its powerful factor of surprise and effect will not serve it well in its upcoming war against Iran.
