The Chinese government should demand that Iran buy the entire combat system, not just the fighter jets.

Israel has the complete American combat system, and if Iran only has fighters, it will be very difficult for the J10C to win, which will ultimately hurt the reputation of China's military industry.

I have heard of a major labor shortage in Russia that has proven a boon to Central Asians who are the main supply of immigrant labor in Russia. Pakistanis never go to Russia to work so are unaware of this. That might not effect the skilled labor needs of Sukhoi though.

Another factor could be the sanctions. Russians have been very creative in circumventing the sanctions, however they may not want to make similar effort for foreign orders like the Iranian SU35.

Everything needs to be fast tracked and the Iranian Air Force needs to be modernised on a war-footing.

Russia is locked in a war and as a result there are supply issues.

China is ready and willing to help Iran build a strong and a modernised air force. They can churn out fighters and air-to-air missiles like pancakes.

Fighters, trainers and AEW&Cs are the need of the hour. Any delay will be severe negligence.

Fighter jets are very expensive and complicated. You need a complex supply chain of parts, engineers and pilots which can't be done overnight brother . Your looking at a 10 year project at least to integrate this kind of technology into Iran's military.. We've seen in Ukraine the F16s have not been used effectively even after a couple of years because of these issues…..Iran needs to buy air defence systems for sure. There homemade are junk as we witnessed in this war.

This, people don't understand the PAF is fully wired in with the Chinese Beidou network, space based intelligence and of course has a host of Chinese AWACS.
Just purchasing jets won't cut it and they will be vulnerable against the IAF.
