Iran Plans to Buy Chinese J-10C Instead of Russian Su-35

Pakistan can, if Iran asks, train Iranian pilots. Temporarily station Iranian J-10Cs in Pakistan till the time Iranian pilots are ready and they have accumulated around 30+ J-10Cs. This way they can ensure that the J-10cs (first batch of 8-10) is not destroyed by Israel upon arrival in Iran .
Pakistan you could argue sometimes too generous if that's the thinking

The freeze on the $400 billion 25-year deal was not due to U.S. sanctions; Chinese SOEs have never cared about U.S. sanctions, and the Chinese government surely took U.S. sanctions into account when it signed the deal. The real reason is Iran's failure to honor the prerequisite terms of the 25-year deal.

First of all, the prerequisite for China to provide armaments was for the Iranian military to completely abandon GPS in favor of China's Beidou, but Iran has not done so. Secondly the prerequisite for the $400 billion investment was ports and oil traded in CNY, but Iran gave the ports to India and only part of the oil trade was switched to CNY.

the Iranian government is in chaos internally, and there are very large forces that are preventing cooperation with China. It is difficult for China and Iran to cooperate until Iran cleans up the internal surrenderists and Mossad.

Don't worry. Cooperation is coming. That's where Pakistan and China play together.

To be honest J-16 makes more sense for Iran.

If China was really willing to sell the J-10C to Iran, the deal would have been struck 10 years ago. The real reason is that China doesn't trust Iran.
J10c entered service in 2018

It pains me to say this….iran needs to do its own regime change before regime is imposed on them. Some times it requires a step or 2 back to take 2 or 3 steps forward.

Zionists will be back sooner than you think

Iran needs to get rid of Mullah regime, even if its symbolically.

Iran are too compromised by mossad to be given advanced platforms and systems.

Iranians need to do a purge on internal rogues and traitors

Air force and air defence will take 10+ years to rebuild.

Iran can only focus on expanding missile threat to do serious damage to israel as the only detterrent.

Bro........listen to me........

Unless Sindhoor is avenged like how these pagal Irani avenged their own sindhoor.......tussi bhool jao looking for justice......for us......don't fool yourself.

Our deterrent lies in tatters!

This unacceptable bro.......
lull bhai the question was regarding iran, not Pakistan, and i answered accordingly.
How strong or weak our deterrence is we will find out in a matter of weeks.
iran right now has no credible AF or AD to speak off and hence are in a lot of trouble.

That was J10-A not J10-C
with wt iran has right now even j 10 A would be a huge improvement over the legacy platform that the iranian AF operates.
China should be willing to let go off a couple of sqd of j10A and iran AF would have a couple of sqd of 4th gen sd 10 equipped j10 A instantly. if iran can convince china to give it, its local version of sd 10 ie pl 12 then u have an ac capabile of firing missiles at arange of 100km.

if this is done in addition to new j10c that iran orders from AVIC, the transition from 3rd gen to fourth gen, to 4.5 gen should be relatively easy and it might give iran the time it needs to field a crediable AF and AD.
also iran needs to buy awacs from china.....infact should buy the 3 Karakuran Eagles sitting idly by in some PAF base. They are an excellent platform, the only prob with the PAF was its cost per flight hrs. in addition to the availability of saab 2000 PAF was spoilt for choice n hence grounded the zdk 2000

Not really .
Even you have a chance or you don't have and with J10a you don't have

ur line above makes little sense, but from wt i am able to understand.
getting J10 A, meaning getting a potent platform with excellent bvr capabilities. Right now, while waiting for j10c means waiting for at the very minimum 6 months to a year. And that's when the deliveries start.
u can quantify the capabilities of J10A with the induction of the PAF ZDK-03 AWACS and even deploy the pl15 on ur j10A with the AWACS.

You need to understand iran does not have time, u dont have years, u have months....so u need weaponry for ur AF right now along with credible AD.

Yes, I have heard about these. Iranian government doesn't seem to be a trusted and committed ally of anybody, they seem to go wherever they can gain some short-term benefit. They don't have long-term strategic alliance mindset and they are hellbent on acceptance from the west and they hope the west will like them and somehow they will lift all sanctions and everything will be good after that. I don't see this changing anytime soon. Under these circumstances if China doesn't want to commit to Iran, China can't be blamed.
