do you have evident that new TELAR is even able to work without the Two Radar we saw on first prototype ?Multiple versions. The intial version was very high grade (S-400 like), but was expensive for mass production and operating. Then another version was built and finally this version which is the most cost effective.
I believe there is at least 4 versions of Bavar-373
1. Original prototype (high end design)
2. 2nd attempt at Original prototype design (slightly less high end)
3. S-300VM like design (current leading design)
4. ABM design (likely a combination of 1+2)
Now what designs eventually become the “staple” of Iranian Air defense network is still up for debate. I believe the S-300VM represents a more cost effective approach allowing more systems and more independence per TEL.
The original prototype while very capable also requires protecting the FCRs from sabotage and Radiation seeking missile. Not to mention keeping them “on” is very expensive for a military with the budget of Iran. If your systems have to be “off” most of the time to save costs then what’s the point?
The S-300VM (Antey 2500) is an upgrade of the S-300V. It consists of a new command-post vehicle, the 9S457ME, and a selection of new radars. These consist of the 9S15M2, 9S15MT2E, and 9S15MV2E all-round surveillance radars, and the 9S19ME sector surveillance radar. The upgraded guidance radar has the GRAU index of 9S32ME. The system can still employ up to six TELARs, the 9A84ME launchers (up to 4 9M83ME missiles), and up to 6 launcher/loader vehicles assigned to each launcher (2 9M83ME missiles each). An upgraded version, dubbed S-300V4, will be delivered to the Russian army in 2011.
now we just need to see this in mass productionVery smart on how they integrated the radar and missiles on the same vehicle. Nice approach.

What everAsk @AmirIGM he has written extensively on the system and Patramesh theorized its design 5 years ago.
A more independent TEL is likely more survivable against Israel or America than the initial design that would be out of commission if the FCR was hit.
Until Iran can adequately protect its radars its air defense kill chain is highly suspectible. It has shown plenty of SHORADs and anti drone systems, more variety than nearly any nation on earth outside of China, Russia, NaTo. And yet where is the numbers?
Creating a prototype is one thing, but if you can’t or won’t mass produce then you are just another North Korea imitation military.
What ever
What a targeting radar. it won't make the teller independent of the tho two radar we saw previously.
It just an adillional radar . A bavar battalion still incluse those two s and x band aesa radar .
“Newly released images reveal that the upgraded Bavar system now features independent fire control and tracking radars integrated into its launchers, allowing them to operate autonomously. Unlike the initial version, which relied on a central radar for target tracking and engagement, the new system significantly enhanced Iran’s air defense capabilities.
According to the displayed specifications, each Bavar 2-373 battery includes a dedicated detection radar and six radar-equipped launchers. This setup allows each launcher to engage hostile targets independently. Furthermore, if the system incorporates TEL (Transporter Erector Launcher) platforms without radars, its engagement capability will be significantly enhanced.”
The X and S system has likely been abandoned. S isn’t strong enough to target alone and X isn’t that great on stealth. So you have to use S to get the missile close enough for seeker to turn on and then switch to X to guide it into sector interception zone. That’s A LOT of critical steps against an adversary that specializes in ECW and jamming.
New set up is 1 engagement radar + 6 TELS + national defense network (and maybe even communicating with S-300).
I don’t know where you think Iran going to get money to operate the 10,000 TRM Xband with its tiny military budget.
As I said that is redundantly solution it contact with radar is lost, no where is yout tweets it stated those two radar get ditched.
