Russians will get bombed soon by american weapons and once again exposed as stupid or enslaved stalling weapon deliveries to Iran.
At this point judged by information best air force Iran could get is ramping up buying and producing escavators, tunnel machines and concrete factories.

How should I know?
 
So obviously after the recent 12 day war Iran's weakness in air force has shown.

The argument is if it had an air force, Israel would not have done as much damage or maybe even been deterred from attacking, which I agree with.

At the same time, the counter argument is, what if America gets involved and you have hundreds of aircraft involved in attacking iran, would the dozens of new Iranian jets just be destroying or be forced to stay hidden?

If this is the case, then one could argue that the money would be better spent elsewhere providing more deterrence for same amount of funds.

At the end of the day, if Israel can't weaken Iran, it will find a way to get USA involved, and that's where the real threat is.

Curious what others takes are on this.

No nation on earth can stand up to the full might of the US Air Force. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just day dreaming and a brainwashed fanboy.

If you actually want to prevent a US assault the best strategy will not be building some fancy air force but simply not picking a fight in the first place. Keep peace, keep trade flowing, exactly like Turkey is doing. It’s working pretty well for them.

Iran can build quite a powerful air force when the time is right and when the nation isnt a pariah anymore. That alone would be enough to keep the real regional rivals Turkey, Iraq, Saudi etc in their place.

No need to fantasize about taking on the US. Just having enough strength to dominate your own region is already a huge strategic edge.

it is not difficult or expensive to create a few hundred Majid trucks

at least they could stop MALE drones flying over Tehran and Esfahan

Agree with your statement, thou mone must not forget that the Yanks threw everything at Vietnam, short of nuclear weapons but still lost, despite having superior weapons and technology

You obviously do not know the military details of the Vietnam War.

Sure, you can say that the US 'lost' the war, but then you would have to explain why did the US have complete autonomy over North Vietnam airspace.

Not to an enemy that wants to overthrow your government, just like they did to Iraq, Syria, Libya, etc. and now with Iran and Venezuela and more.

Some of these countries had no beef with US but yet they still were attacked.

Turkey is a western puppet and also we don't know, they could be a target in the future

I don't now , I'm also certain building several hundred of those majid truck cost less than the damage of those drones .

My only guess is that majid was a prototype and not a finished project that they had to rush out of the research facilities to deal with drones.
pobably we later see a version of majid with a gun also added to dead to deal with drones and swarms and they produce it
