Then go through his comments. Its not a logical debate to say that for example Pakistan or any other country has not flown any kind of aviation product. Its a mere judgement based on bigotry and undermining a whole state. Its exactly jumping into a conclusion aimed at insulting that country.

You’re funny … You can’t handle the truth – aka to refute the propaganda – and even less so when it’s publicly denounced; you’re threatening me, saying the discussion would escalate into personal attacks if I don’t stop – not because I’ve attacked you, but simply because I’m stating facts that you refuse to accept …

China relies on exports. Being a superpower doesn’t mean you piss off the West and Arabs for bread crumbs from Iran.Go look up how much trade and military contracts China has with the Arabs.

China (Xi) will simply not rock the boat and open himself up to be pressured by the West for a country like Iran that doesn’t hold a lot of strategic value for China.

Anyway don’t want to get off topic on this matter in this thread.

Iran holds strategic value for China as:

1) Ally against the US

2) Overland Transit corridor to Europe

3) Source of oil independent from US

Because giving weapons to a banana country doesn’t have any geopolitical headaches attached. Especially when said banana country will be fully dependent on Russia to operate and maintain the weapon system.

Giving weapons to Iran has major headaches for Russia by the Arabs, Turks, Europeans, and of course the Americans.

This has been the main obstacle for Iran with respect to Russia since the fall of the Soviet Union. Countless arms deals that fall apart or Russia refused to sell. The same problem happens with the Chinese as well.

No one is willing to sell Iran anything of value for fear of geopolitical repercussions.

Probably because these are from the Egyptian order and cannot fullfill the IRIAF requirement (sensors, communications or electronic warfare). We have seen before this kind of problems with Algerian Mig29.
