If anyone has paid attention, Babak T account is claiming that no new MIG-29 has been received but he did not explicitly mention that MP was lying. He just said videos being peddled out by Iranian aviation fans are from old MIG fleet.

It has a great problem . If the is 5 hot zone in the the sky it only can detect 4 of them and miss the 5th one.
Pirate can detect up 500 hot object.
That meant the use of flame make the system useless

The problem is it use a powerful detector but the technology is old , Russia have a modern irst comparable by the best West countries can provide and use it in in su57 , they could easily upgrade their su 35 with that but they didn't do that and that limited su35 irst ,while if the used a more modern imaging infrared sensensor there was no such problem

The latest take on it is that Russia sent the upgrade kits...not new aircrafts. I don't know who's right or wrong. But the kits are a step in the right direction....however, if they were a solid ally they would've sent us a few SU-35s....I just hope the S400 rumors are true...if it's not "khak bar sare ma" and our leadership.

The basic Yak130 has no even radar. How can be they doing QRA missions?.

We´re missing something. They are not Yak131 or Yak130M.

It is just IRIAF being as utterly incompetent as every other military branch.

Your posting two contracting articles also Iran observes posts mostly fake news. Let’s just assume the second one is fake if china wanted to sell Iran those planes they would’ve got it right after the war

This is recycled content from years ago. They keep posting this, with a renewed focus on J-10 rumors because of Su 35 delivery delays. Come on guys, none of these posts are ever a credible source.
