Iran needs a complete rework of security in Sistan Balochistan
According to my own maths, at least 0.5 security/police/soldiers are killed each month by terrorists, either from terrorist groups or random gunmen in Balochestan province and borders
Only for Balochestan, Iran should get level 3 plates for every single security team and soldiers, including border guards, halt temporarily deliveries of APC to Iraq and deliver a massive batch of them to security members
- There is no need to make armors by Iran itself, Russia could provide plates for every single member of the army and security in Balochestan
- Iran produces APC such as Toophan in numbers, stop the delivery of unarmored Aras vehicles
- Protection against IEDs contained in the APCs
- Armor to protect up to 12.7mm bullets (for vehicles and APC)
- Level 3 armor and helmet, this can be obtained from Russia or China, but only limited to Balochestan in a first step
-Regroup a large number of gunships such as AH-1J/Mi-17 and drones (any armed drone) ready to lock on targets quickly or gun them down once backup is called
The majority of those attacks consists in using AK in a group of 2+ man and doing a drive by in high power motorbike or shooting from afar and destroys glasses of the unarmored cars resulting in head shots
This kind of attack wouldn't be possible anymore with the use of APCs and stoppage of AK bullets, so far we've never seen those groups using RPGs or bigger weaponry, only limited to machine guns and AKs
Anyone saying that this rework isn't possible is completely wrong and underestimate Iran ability to produce armored vehicles and a simple purchase of plates and helmets from Russia/China. Hezbollah and PMU soldiers have more or less modern helmets and plates but still way better than any border guard in Iran
