Iranian Missiles | News and Discussions

Of course. If Israel does, Irán would destroy the gas infraestructure in front of Gaza.
Haifa refinery was destroyed. The port was severely damaged and Eilat port is literally bankrupt.
That shows that Irán can cripple at least the basic infraestructure of the country in few days.
Even with small volleys missiles were arriving and hitting targets.
With new launchers, decoys and repaired tunnels in missile cities (the entrances is being hardened) It is clear that next rounds will be higher in numbers and frequencies.
If Israel and US destroys the Iranian refineries, all Middle East US bases will be destroyed. And this time using cruise missile and thousands of drones. All them targetteable... Using fighters, so the less damage to be done by US and israelí Air force.
The US covers any damage the Israeli economy suffers. It has the money to do so and can secure additional funding from PG Arab states if needed. Iran does not have this support. Its economy is already crippled. This means Iran cannot afford escalation in the same way Israel can.

Israel can also take greater risks because it knows that if the situation worsens, the US would be forced to bail them out by getting directly involved. Iran does not have this assurance and therefore must show restraint.

This risk of direct US involvement is what IRI fears most. As a result, anything short of a fullscale US invasion is highly unlikely to lead IRI to destroy American bases. IRIs policy is to de escalate. Destroying an American base is the exact opposite of de escalation

There won't be further Israeli attack and no US support for an attack....the whole display in front of the cameras was just bluster....nothing else.
However, the economic crisis in Iran is real, and there is no way out.....they need to reform or die.
The people need a government built on merit...not insiders and ring kissers.
No mullahs in government, period!
Government should be staffed by professionals, not religious clerics.
If you don't like what I'm writing...well, in a year or two, you may have to be leaving Iran, or in hiding.....the people are angry, and they wont soon forget....this is your final chance to reform and give them a real democracy.

Institutional reforms are needed, we need a "controlled democracy" like Russia, different parties/voices should take part in the system. The filter should be no more "Islamic", but "Iranian interests" and "merit based".
Whenever Iran prospers, the region prospers.

Hmm 🤔, I think I said the same thing before the Israel fan club had a melt down

If Israel does attack Iran again, then Iran "must" take the driving seat and decide the course of events. Israel needs to be deterred from the concept that it alone dictate when things "start" and "finish".

Israel may have the capability to start, but Iran should then decline ceasefire attempts, and drive home the point that it alone will decide when it ends, and only once it has imposed a significant cost to Israel and American interests in Israel.

Maneuvrable reentry vehicles would score hits against enemy positions next round just like before. If solutions are implemented (like alternate routes when missile base gates are hit and collapsed) there will be more hits this time . Other older missiles can work as expandable assets of saturation similar to shaheeds.

Another possible option that I wrote before in the old forum and I now remembered is to use a lower rcs designed radar absorbant box carrying a single reentry vehicle inside or multiple reentry vehicles inside. The warhead would be almost untrackable in exo-atmospheric midcourse phase by ground radars. Since there is no atmosphere-friction you can come up with many carrier-box low rcs geometries.

Cone shape rv is necessary but it is not a low rcs geometry. A Trapezoid shaped box made from radar absorbant material with bottom flat side facing earth is much less detectable-trackable than cone shape rvs by ground radars. Just before entering atmosphere the box will open and release the cone shaped rv inside(or multiple vehicles) into the atmosphere. The bm will release the carrier low rcs box and the box will release the rv at the terminal phase.

Eventhough the rvs are not maneuvrable and trajectory of the ballistic missile can be calculated by the ground radars at the initial phase of the launch, it wont be accurate enough for efficient interception. It can also work with maneuvrable rvs the box will open little more before the terminal phase and rv would position itself. Downside would be less warheads-payload can be carried by the missile because the box will take more space inside. But it would be more survivable against abms.

Using Flak cannons in 2025 as main air defense weapon even for exercise, is pretty depressing. This is WW2 era weaponary.

Never seen the individual talking in the clip; Is he another mouthpiece for the regime? He is making insteresting claims. More propaganda? We shall see. He does not talk about plasma but states that Iran has EMP weapons that will destroy everything within 200 KM and thermobaric warheads that will be used in the next round of hostilities.

The Iranian officials should copy Israel in one respect.

Let your actions do the talking. Boast about it when the job is done.
