Iranian Nuclear Doctrine

Highly unlikely Iran has the technological know how to get to a working fusion reactor, Chinese are pretty close and Americans as well. Iran has neither the capital nor the resources for such an endeavor.

This is just as embarrassing as 10+ years ago when they announced they were going to be installing naval nuclear reactors soon in warships and submarines.

اونا دارن واسه بمب زدن ایران برنامه ریزی میکنن اونوقت پزشکیان و قائم پناه میگن غنی سازی هم بدیم بره

حیف که از الفاظ رکیک نمیشه استفاده کرد

Iran has made nearly zero progress after 2013 when Ahmadinejad left the office. This includes both nuclear and space industries in Iran.

The Late Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to Hassan Rouhani/Fereydoun [the previous president of Iran after Ahmadinejad and the person who wanted to completely destroy Iran's nuclear capabilities]

As long as I am live, I will not retreat from this country's rights of enriching uranium. If for any reason Iran is deprived of its right to enrichment, I will resign; otherwise, this matter may happen after my death.

Minute 6:10
Irán probably have half dozen nuclear weapons.

Even if that is not true, being nearly one year without IAEA inspections, Irán not only would rebuilt their nuclear installations, but even bulld new ones on alternative sites and the Iranian nuclear weapons program would be not trackable anymore because of the spread infraestructure. Like they did with their missile manufacture sites.

The Contradictory Effect of War: Iran Is About to Join the Nuclear Club [Text by experts in Brazilian geopolitics]

Tehran's threat to leave the Non-Proliferation Treaty reignites fears that the war and attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities have accelerated, rather than slowed, Iran's path toward the bomb.

The first vice-president of parliament, Ali Nikzad, announced that Iran is ready to urgently review a draft law on the country's withdrawal from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) :

“The draft law on immediate withdrawal from the NPT is under review and, after its official presentation, will be analyzed on the same day. Of course, parliament will also consider the international aspects of this issue.”

The draft law was prepared under an emergency procedure and can be reviewed without precedent on the day of its registration. Details and amendments can be evaluated on the same day. The Guardian Council of the Constitution will approve it directly in chambers.This is familiar to us. The Federal Assembly has sometimes shown the same speed when the Kremlin urgently needed something. But what is the rush on a fundamental issue (for which Donald Trump attacked Iran)?After the attacks on Iranian nuclear infrastructure during the 12-day war, it was officially declared that the nuclear program had been destroyed or delayed for many years. In reality, nobody knew this. The most important task of the Pentagon and the Israeli leadership was to gather intelligence information about its results.It is very likely that the US tried to use sources in the IAEA inspection groups for this. The Iranian parliament passed a law to suspend cooperation with the IAEA on June 25, 2025. As of July 2, the IAEA no longer received any information about the state of the nuclear complex.From a purely military point of view, when trying to destroy a strategic sector, the most correct solution is to urgently transfer it underground and accelerate the work as much as possible. This applies to any sector. And in the case of nuclear, it goes without saying.The political regime of the ayatollahs can be evaluated from different perspectives. Strategically, these evaluations don't matter. By testing nuclear weapons, Iran will end the phase of the struggle for nuclear sovereignty. It's too late to attack, everything has already happened.What does Tehran's urgent withdrawal from the NPT mean?

1. The bombing of the centrifuges on Mount Fordo last summer either had no effect, or the nuclear materials were removed in advance;

2. Iran maintained its capacity to enrich uranium;

3. Since last summer, there has been an accelerated production of material for the Shiite atomic bomb. Probably, it would now be sufficient for an underground demonstration explosion and for weapons production.

4. The masks have fallen, Tehran is ready to enter the nuclear club.There is also a second intriguing possibility. Nikzad mentioned that the issue of leaving the NPT is one of the options for future actions.

That is, this could be a bluff before the US elections. This threat will worsen Trump's situation as a Republican leader.Voters will realize that he not only raised the price of diesel, but also contributed to the creation of Iran's atomic bomb. The meaning of the deputy speaker of parliament's statement will not be immediately clear. But Iran's entry into the nuclear club is an absolutely real prospect.

NOTE:
The vast majority of geopolitical experts in Brazil agree that Iran's nuclear program was not affected because there was no radioactive leak anywhere. The US and Israel don't know what happened and want to use UN inspections precisely to try to find out.
