Iran now has 2475 installed IR-4 and 1097 installed IR-6

IR-6 has reached acceptable reliability and mass production a few years ago. although with metal bellows rather than fully carbon fibre due to some issues with carbon fibre reliability. that's probably what is delaying IR-8 etc too

also interesting to note that Israel's nuclear archive revealed Iran has been working on a IR-16. computer models only but interesting nonetheless

IR-16 is likely the IR-X I referred to. Although I don’t see how Iran moved from IR-9 to 16, so a weird number.

None the less, IR-6 moving to a steel bellow likely drops its SWU rating. So if IR-6 and IR-4 produce roughly the same SWU, then it will come down to which is easier to produce (including spare parts) and cost/benefit analysis.
 
I hate to say this, but I think Ahmadinejad would’ve pressured the SL to build the nukes if he was still the president now.

Does anyone know if the fatwa dies when the SL passes away?

Even 15 is not enough. At least 100-500 to keep USA away.

Also, iran needs ballistic missile submarine more than ever now - nukes aren’t enough without reliable second strike capability. 71% of earth surface is covered by water so lots of places to hide nukes.

Iran and Israel are not Russia/US.
Iran has at most 2.000 km away from Israel. It is enough big and enough close to use only MRBM. With 10 of them hidden with 150 of them Israel is K.O.

You do realize if you go against Israel, you will be fighting the entire western civilization? 100-500 is good enough for medium term, long term Iran needs to match the stockpile of Russia and USA.

And on top of that Iran needs hydrogen bomb with plutonium so not just an atomic bomb with uranium.

If Russia can do it then Iran can too. Maintaining large nuclear arsenal is undoubtedly an expensive venture, but it’s necessary for kicking Isreal out and keeping west out of this war.

Please define "civilization". US and UK and maybe Germany at much.
Iran won´t start this nuclear war. Israel will do it. In fact has been Ben Gvir the one that has been promoting the using of nuclear devices against Gaza.
