I think most of us agree with you that it was an Israeli operation. Only one helicopter out of several crashed. All they had to do was to find a single lapse in security and plant a tiny device inside the helicopter at some crucial point (along a single key electrical wire, for example) which could then be remotely detonated.
Security is a function of society and Israel is ten steps ahead of the region, not just in science but also in military discipline. The reason the West, Israel and others are decades ahead of Muslims is because their societies are based on meritocracy. Sure, there are lapses and they also have nepotism, corruption, etc. but those ills are balanced out, even outweighed, by meritocracy.
In Muslim societies, by contrast, well I don't have to spell it out. Every single Muslim country is decades behind the rest of the world for a reason...
