And your claim is AIO has no IRGC links and the engineers never served in IRGC or were apart of Shahrud missile development faciltiy? Correct?
I don't remember making such a claim

but I do think AIO and IRGC-ASF missile teams are mostly separate and cannot be put in same bucket

“as far as I’m aware”. Is akin to the saying “unnamed sources”.

Please let me know where you both are getting this information of non-IRGC related aerospace companies helping DM create engines.

Zoljanah is based on Sejill tech. And still IRGC-SSF is 1-2 generations ahead what they “allow” civil sector to possess.
and you tell us sejjil was made by IRGC !!!!!
wonder why some people make an Idol from IRGC and think it come from another dimension.
can you guys tell me Shahid Hemmat Industrial Group belong to IRGC or Defense ministry
you guys think IRGC can go and buy missile engine technology by itself, no all foreign tech transfer is done via Ministry of defense

You are right these engineers and lead scientists have zero affiliation with IRGC. They are just magical civilians who learned how to build rocket engines in Iran by roasting kabobs on a grill and going to Sharif University. Unbelievable.

AIO is filled with IRGC personnel. ISA has IRGC personnel on the launchpads prepping the missiles —sorry “space launch vehicles”. And yet you claim IRGC is not a part of these institutions and they are 100% independent.

yes by roasting kebab in Iran industrial universites . AIO have a lot more not IRGC affiliated personnel than IRGC personnel .

Really the only good tech on this thing is it’s X-Band radar that should help data transmissions speeds moving forward.

Still lacks unfoldable solar panels and it’s imaging camera is at best for environmental surveying.

That's OK with me for now. This we have to learn. Note, the satellite itself was constructed ages ago. As long as the tik-tok tempo proceeds we should see reasonably rapid advancement. I'm giving Iran a huge birth here since this is something required.

And heres a very interesting one,an SAR

Is it for a future recon sat or perhaps a male/hale drone?,hopefully time will tell.

Iran to conduct another orbital launch by March 20th:

"the country will launch another satellite by the end of the current Iranian calendar year" [March 20th]

candidates: Simorgh, Zoljanah, Qaem-100, Qaem-105

I would guess Zoljanah.
Reminder that we are expecting another satellite launch attempt within the next 7-8 days

It’s a SAR receiver. Iran has already installed SAR in drones. It claims it has also installed SAR in its first IRGC spy sat that never stabilized. US disputes that, Iran released footage of a SAR imaging over a Us airbase, but it was never believed the images were really from SAR.

The capability is there, SLV payload is the real issue. Iran lacks powerful enough SLV to launch more than 100-150KG into orbit.

Question becomes is it IRGC-SF or ISA.

Zoljanah hasn’t seen a test in a long time. Too early for Sarir. Will they do another Simorgh?

Iran manufactures heavy satellite carriers "Sarir” & “Qaim"

https://www.saba.ye/en/news3315228.htm

TEHRAN March 22. 2024 (Saba) - The Iranian Space Organization announced today, Friday, the near completion of the manufacture of heavy satellite carriers “Sarir” and “Qaim.”

He continued, “On our agenda is the design and construction of carriers for heavy satellites such as “Sarir” and “Qaim 105 and 120.”

On 1 hand they say it’s almost complete, on the other they say they are about to start design and construction.

Does anyone have the farsi version? Seems like terrible translations.

Previously they said they will launch Sarir in 2026 and Qaem 120 in 2027.....

And they must launch Qaem 105 and Qaem 110 before Qaem 120
