Iran has carried out attacks in Pakistan, targeting alleged bases of the militant group Jaish al-Adl. The Iranian state media reported that missiles and drones were utilized in the attack on Tuesday. However, Pakistan did not immediately acknowledge the incident. Jaish al-Adl, a Sunni militant group primarily operating in nuclear-armed Pakistan, has previously launched attacks on Iranian security forces along the border.

The bases, reportedly hit and destroyed, were located in Pakistan's Balochistan province, according to Iran's Nournews, affiliated with the country's top security body. This marks an unprecedented missile and drone attack on Pakistan by Iran, heightening tensions in the region.

In March 2022, India accidentally misfired a Brahmos missile into Pakistan. Initially, there was no response from Pakistan until the Indian defense ministry admitted the accidental firing due to a technical malfunction during routine missile maintenance. Subsequently, in August 2022, the Indian Air Force dismissed three officers, following a Court of Inquiry that found deviations from Standard Operating Procedures.

The Iranians have been hosting BLA terrorists. I believe, if, Pakistan were to retaliate, going after these targets inside Iran would be a good narrative.

If I didn't fear Allah I would be okay with giving a response that is out of proportion to Iran's attack but alhumdulillah I do and so should the rest of Pakistanis brothers.

If yes: Pakistan chose to let these terrorists live inside Pakistan despite Iranian warnings / requests to pursue them or Iran will

Targeting soldiers is a direct act of war. In the Grand scheme of things, small numbers of civilian deaths don't really account to war with Pakistan and ME countries

It is far better to aim for anti Pak Militants that are there.
