Drought conditions are predicted for this rainy season as rains are scarce and seeds and seedlings planted are dying but this does not make India go into famine. 2026’s India is totally different from 1990’s. We have planned for these hiccups like any other country. Let us wait and see if we go with a begging bowl to other countries for scraps. Chinese seem to be cautioning us for the disaster as any good neighbor do. So kind of them. I wish them same kind of goodwill from us when it comes to that.

You made a mistake. Chinese people never mock hunger and poverty, because we used to be even more hungry and poor than India. What we cannot accept is a country exporting food while starving.
