Israel Genocide in Gaza - 2023 to present - Part ll

What leverage? Look at the devastation in Gaza, the genocide, and forced starvation. They want any reason to blame Hamas and restart it.
the leverage I just explained. this is Trump's ceasefire and he is personally invested in retaining it. so when Israel commits a major violation, there is some space for Hamas to respond and then ask the mediators to say this was their response to Israel's violation and they want to return to Trump's ceasefire. suddenly they care about the consequences?

Both Lebanon and Gaza are in bad shape. The difference though is that Hamas did all it could. Gaza was under siege for years while Lebanon had an open supply line from Syria. Everything Hezbollah stock piled was for nothing. They hesitated and lost their deterrence.

Hezbollah folded pretty easily and I don’t blame them. They don’t want their people to suffer the same fate as the people of Gaza from this genocidal state. Hezbollah also had very bad intelligence failures and were very compromised unlike Hamas in Gaza.
"pretty easily" is a bit harsh, but don't disagree with the rest.

Hamas and Hezbollah are irregular forces fighting for their freedom and the freedom of their land, their strategy DEPENDED on others standing up for them in their struggle

Israel was supplied and supported by the U.S and west

When no one barring Iran who is far stood up, that's when this fell apart

Israel will never survive in the middle east, too much blood has been spilt but this was a time when the region could unite and rise and they didn't

Pro-Israel Palestinian collaborators in Gaza assassinated Hamas Internal Security Officer

Hamas also says interior security officer Lt. Col. Ahmed Zamzam was killed this morning by an Israeli-backed group under Israel’s orders, citing an initial investigation.

“The assassination was carried out by agents of the occupation under direct orders of the Israeli intelligence apparatus,” the Hamas interior ministry says in a statement. It adds that investigations are ongoing and that “the remaining perpetrators” are under pursuit.

The ministry said earlier that Zamzam was shot dead this morning by armed people in the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, and that one suspect has been arrested.

Israeli media reports that they deferred assassination attempts on Sinwar and Deif in Gaza because their focus was solely on Hezbollah and Iran, and they wanted to leave Hamas in Gaza "intact"

Hamas's action on October 7 had a Palestinian character and was not necessarily aimed at diverting danger from Iran and Hezbollah, but was in fact a response to the mega-deal of normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel and the territorial concessions to Israel under its guise

@RescueRanger

In the old thread you asked what was the link between Hanukkah and Zionism, it’s the glorification of the Maccabis, extremists rejected by most Jews until zionism brought them back to construct their narrative:

They don’t care about all that, Israel can bomb at will without any consequences. This was always a one sided ceasefire just like in Lebanon. They don’t consider Israeli violations as breaking the ceasefire.

I don’t mean in disrespect but they were extremely compromised.

I 100% agree

The issue now is that these irregular forces cannot confront Israel. Israel has shown that it can massacre women and children, bomb hospitals, UN shelters, kill Journalists, etc without any consequences.

Something has to change.

Interesting development and interesting choice of words by the Arabs inside Israel

Like I've always said, everything is to play for and demography is EVERYTHING

The pressure we can build up on Jews over time is massive

It’s very convenient these terror attacks always happen when Israel’s image is in the gutter.
