Tel Aviv cannot undo what it has done and the world cannot unsee what it has seen.

We live in a instant world, where we think if something doesn't happen immediately then it won't happen at all

How long did the crusaders occupy Jerusalem?
How long did the British occupy India?
How long did the Ottoman's occupy Greece?

At the height of occupation, it may seem like the nightmare will never end

And sometimes it doesn't, for the native Americans, Aztecs, incans, maori, aboriginals, the nightmare became permanent and their populations were either destroyed or permanently humiliated in occupation

But multiple times even after centuries people's have fought off occupation


And the fundamentals are against Israel

They are in a hostile region surrounded by people who hate them

They seek to occupy land where millions of Palestinians exist

The Jewish population is about 7.2 million

At this moment in time the Palestinian population is 3.5 million in west bank, 2.2 million in Gaza and about 2 million Arabs in Israel

The Palestinians are also much younger then the Jews and have a high birth rate

Israel is a pariah, their is groundswell of resistance across the world

As you said the world cannot unsee what it has seen, it cannot unsee the injustice

The Israeli cannot use the Holocaust to guiltrip anyone


EVEN IF, (and this is likely) the Israeli use any excuse to occupy Gaza and continue to oppress and kill Palestinians, it will only damn the Jews further


We have managed to change many, the U.S is the final frontier and if we can start to make changes there (and they are happening) then Israel will not last in a hostile region
