Trump: The war in Gaza is over.
The harms of the #Gaza war and the cost of reconstruction according to the United Nations Development Programme:
The cost of rebuilding Gaza is 70 billion US dollars.
The reconstruction process takes 10 years.
55 million tons of rubble.
80% of buildings were destroyed and damaged.
Do you know what a "commitment to invest" means? Basically hot air and nothing concrete.$70 billion is not much. UAE promised to invest $1.4 trillion in the USA and Saudi promised to invest $600 billion in the USA. I am sure they can spare 3.5% of this amount for Gaza
--
The UAE proudly committed to a 10-year, $1.4 trillion dollar investment framework in the United States.
Trump announced Saudi Arabia's $600-billion commitment to invest in the United States, building economic ties that will endure for generations to come.
Very happy that there is no mention of KSA being involved in this sham of a deal in any ways.Maariv
Quoting an Israeli official
- Israel does not wish for Turkey to participate in the peacekeeping force in the discussions related to the "stabilization force" in Gaza.
- Turkey cannot be part of the structure that will disarm Hamas. The Turkish presence would undermine the entire process.
- Israel does not oppose the participation of "moderate" Gulf states such as the UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain in the peacekeeping force.
- There is opposition to the Turkish presence.- Turkey openly supports Hamas, and there are close ideological ties between President Erdoğan and the Muslim Brotherhood.

in this context. The stance of Prince Mohammed bin Salman was clear: The establishment of a Palestinian state comes first. This is a position that deserves respect.![]()
they are fellow Sunni Arabs, I thought you were into that pan Arabism stuffDo you know what a "commitment to invest" means? Basically hot air and nothing concrete.
Why should KSA and UAE fund the destruction caused by Israel? Let Israel, the US and allies pay for it.
Or Iran.
Did you know that Saudi Arabia help rebuild Lebanon after its civil war..by pouring in $60 billion.. without thinking about Shiaa or Sunni population..they are fellow Sunni Arabs, I thought you were into that pan Arabism stuff
and if that isn't a good enough reason for you, it's a good way to spread their influence in Gaza too
Iran doesn't have the ethno-religious ties with Palestinians that the Arabs do, and also doesn't have any money, or ability to fund anything given US sanctions and Israel's involvement
but I agree the commitments are worthless and they create a nice big magic number to make Trump happy since he is a fat toddler
Almost every single Arab (500 + million) is pan-Arab by nature (I am no different) but there is a difference between being that and being an outright retard.they are fellow Sunni Arabs, I thought you were into that pan Arabism stuff
and if that isn't a good enough reason for you, it's a good way to spread their influence in Gaza too

Not sure about the numbers but it was clearly a mistake. Lebanon remains a failed and divided nation and KSA gains nothing (or any other country for that matter) from investing in this nation. We should be investing in Yemen and Sudan next door. Fellow Arab countries as well but with a huge booming demography and a lot of economic potential. Even Egypt, despite being ruled by the corrupt military establishment is a better investment destination for the very same reasons. Also next door.Did you know that Saudi Arabia help rebuild Lebanon after its civil war..by pouring in $60 billion.. without thinking about Shiaa or Sunni population..
For Gaza..the West must help in the rebuilding, since they are the ones who have allowed this destruction in the first place..
Iran has money..It just bought 48 SU-35 from Russia worth more than $6 billion..
