I had been on the fence but I tend to agree with you that
  1. We cannot blame VP Harris for Biden's sins.
  2. Of the three, Biden, Trump and Harris, she has the most empathy for Palestinians. She criticized Modi and defended Kashmiri rights.
  3. The AOC crowd, who are very pro-Palestinian, in the Democratic party will be helped by a Dem POTUS.
All things considered, Harris is the better choice.

Thank God there is one more sensible voice here! You are right on all three points. BTW, it is not only the US elections which have the impact on the ongoing Gaza/Lebanon/Iran war but also which US President gets elected does have the impact on this war. So this discussion belongs in this thread; we are not talking about a typical US election where immigration or health insurance is being discussed.
But well meaning people here are missing the context: Trump's cadre has much less, if any, support for the Palestinians. Trump himself used 'Palestinian' as a slur during or after his debate with Biden. Trump is heavily funded by the likes of Miriam Sheldon. So why would Trump not follow the pressure points of his own cadre? In contrast, there is significant support for the Palestinians in the Democratic camp to the point of almost half of the Democratic Congressmen boycotted Netanyahu's Joint Address to the Congress; and those people took a big risk during the election year.

I am not saying Kamala is great. Frankly, I don't know much about her except I have seen her statements since January of this year which are bolder than Biden or Trump to highlight the Palestinian sufferings; in an election year, that's a lot of risk. Both parties have to cater to the AIPAC money but one does it happily while the other has to. Notice the Israeli sites and the user Comments there: They are overwhelmingly against Harris.

A clear path forward would be: Muslims/Arabs/Progressive vote as a block and in joint and prominent statement: 'Tell Harris their support is given in good faith and only for 2024 and only in the Swing States. If Harris wins and doesn't be fair then know our voting block's power and know that you would never win in the Swing States.' The pollsters, who are many and are quite brilliant in statistics, would analyze the post poll results and come up with conclusions for the future.

The Green Party has no future in America for the foreseeable future--they are not going to get the 5%; maybe not even 3%. Maybe in 20+ years they would be a force to deal with. But the Middle East needs course correction from the Americans now! So why not tap into the resources of your already existing allies??

Israeli losses in Gaza war:

843 total security forces (765 IDF + the rest are police + Shin Bet officers)
935 settlers

= c. 1,800 killed (and 15,000-20,000+ injured)

This is the third highest deaths in any war in Israeli history, behind only the 1948 war and the 1973 war

Adjusting for population, it's equivalent to the USA suffering c. 75,000 killed and more than 600,000 injured (which would be the highest for any US war except for WW1 and WW2).

Us and British soldiers are on the ground fighting for them trust me if worst came to worst they would find an excuse to send there armies there without being covert

If they are not your ally right now, part of that is because of the election cycle. But they can be much more likely to be your ally in the future, even near future. Compare that with the other side.

Roughly half of House and Senate Democrats skipped Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday, according to an Axios headcount.

Why it matters: Many lawmakers, particularly progressive Israel critics, made clear they were explicitly boycotting the event in protest of Netanyahu's prosecution of the war in Gaza.

  • Among the boycotters are former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), former House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).
  • Isolationist Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) made clear he was explicitly boycotting the speech as well, saying he didn't want to be a "prop" for Netanyahu.

Israeli airstrike targeting a bus carrying citizens near Al-Khalidi Mosque, west of Gaza, led to a number of martyrs and wounded on the spot.

The car was carrying young men working to secure aid.

Just look at the curse on this SOB's face - may the rest like him join him soon, we dont want him being lonely after all

November 11th is a very important date for Americans who are against bankster's wars.

Later, I will find a good article on the history.
For any history geeks around here, if Trump wins on November 5, it will be 336th anniversary of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glorious_Revolution that brought about major changes in Britain and led to the rise of 'WASP' as a civilization changing cultural group.

Hezbollah has the most valuable thing it owns For Gaza and Jerusalem
Where are those we stood with in Syria?
Where is everyone who stood against Hezbollah?
Unfortunately, we did not find any of them.

So true.

All those who cried for Syrian children
All those who joined ISIS

All hidden now do

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian resistance groups on Thursday, October 24, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on Oct. 24:
  • Targeted a D9 military bulldozer with a Shuath explosive device near Al-Fakhoura School in Jabalia Camp, northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations:
  • Targeted an Israeli military command and control center near the Civil Administration area east of Jabalia Camp, northern Gaza Strip, with heavy mortar shells.
  • Targeted the supply lines of Israeli military forces in the "Netzarim" axis with mortar shells.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces' operations:
  • Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and vehicles with mortar shells in the vicinity of the "Maqbula" site, southeast of Al-Bureij Camp in the central Gaza Strip.
  • Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces south of the "Netzarim" axis with heavy mortar shells.

Mujahideen Brigades' operations:
  • Targeted an Israeli military vehicle with an explosive device on Askar Street in the city of Nablus, hitting it directly.

Trump is compromised. Kamala is also compromised. But no doubt Trump is a lot more compromised than Kamala.

Republicans also cater to right wing evangelist lunatics who so fantatically want The Rupture to come to fullfillment, so that Jesus can return (and kill all the Jews!!). For that to happen Jews must be gathered in the holy land first according to the Biblican prophecy. Its a twisted marriage between zionists and evangelists.

Democrats otoh have a voterbase that is less connected to religion and more multicultural leaning, giving Democratic candidates more manouvering space concerning this topic.

In a ideal situation there would be a strong Republican voterbase which wasnt so zionist leaning. You have the isolationists who are gaining more ground but they dont have that much clout yet.
