"It Is Ours Too": Pakistan Brings Back Sanskrit, Plans Gita, Mahabharata Studies

Germans learnt Sanskrit centuries back and started we wuzzing as Aryans. Let's see how this one goes.

We find this historic revisionism amusing. Also as a new internet e lafda for fun. I watched the video of your so called Sanskrit University and he wrote Hindi on the board btw.
You can keep believing in whatever fantasy fiction land you can. Dreaming is interest free.
Germans were likely closer genetically to the original Aryans than you or I are.

Herodotus wrote about Ants the size of foxes that dig Gold and people eating other human after their death and eating raw fish. You really want to rely on the guy who called you cannibals? His stories were fantasies and the guy never visited India.
Fair points.

But he did document a difference between those of the IVC/westerly lying and those east of it. Whether he mistook pack animals for legends of giant ants or not doesn't detract from the underlying observation.

Ror community in India are people who are more genetically closer to Aryans than Germans and has the highest Aryan genes in the subcon. Germans are Northern Europeans who are mostly R1b that too in lesser percentage. East Europe and Central Asians had higher Aryan genes in them, but hardly any major civilization. Mediterraneans were the highest point of Ancient Europe had the lowest Aryan genes.

People need to look who exactly Aryans were, maybe learning Sanskrit would help you. Technically speaking nobody is Aryan for the word that's intented and certainly not mlechchas.😉

The creation of a nation state called "India" by Pandit Jawarlal Nehru on 15th August 1947, while knowing full well that the River Indus and its legacy civilisation was not the substantive part of this new nation state, is the PRECISE DEFINITION of the bolded text in your comment.

Your nation should have been called Bharat or Hindustan or anything else on its inception, yet Nehru chose deliberately to appropriate a neighbouring nation's ancient history and birthright.

The appropriation continues to this day, and Pakistan, the true inheritors of the IVC, will reject your assertions. You will remain confused until we sort this mess out - understandable.

@Foinikas for your interest, I have often drawn a similarity between Pakistan's objection to India even calling itself "India" in the above context, with FYROM using "Macedonia" in its identity politics, when the true historical Macedonia of Philip and Alexander actually has nothing to do with 🇲🇰.

It is partly our own fault in Pakistan that this has happened, but now we are pushing back against false projections of pseudo-history from neighbouring nations.
The bolded part you reffered to, is actually true for present day entity called India.
They have changed history over the years and still trying to change it ven at very basic primary school level.

So, believing in anything translated by Indians in Hindi or English is plain foolish.

Their Hindi and English translation of sacred texts of Vedas is also heavily manupilated.

Basically Hindus are not only present day fake news factories, but they are doing it for centuries.

and you know better than me, I am just giving a hint.

I would imagine that it will become easier and more tolerable with time. At first encounter though, the abrasive mix of sanskritised and hindustani hindi types has a strangely acerbic and discombobulating effect when listened to (I recall involuntarily balking at Col Sophia's every second sentence back in May). It isn't just about understanding the words but also about becoming accustomed to the way the words are uttered.

In any event, studying the precursor Sanskrit tongue will only benefit Pakistan in the long run.

Don't worry yourself too much though over what ancient languages Pakistanis develop expertise in. We may even keep this particular ancient relic alive for posterity after you lot are long gone.
presently most respected Sanskrit scholars are non Hindustani, atleast for 100 years

I am against this. It's not our language. This is a gate-way to SEM2SEM, and of course the Communist Liberals of LUMS is offering this.
I'd seen how Indians speak - and its disgusting. Everything about the is disgusting. If anything, create a massive Persian culture and language program as that was our lingua franca before the British decided to alter the mindset of the people in our region.

Completely agree. A lot of Pakistanis seem genuinely confused about their own roots. Instead of being confident about their Persian, Arab, and Central Asian lineage (which they keep insisting on), they get irrationally angry when Indians acknowledge and celebrate the geographic and civilizational roots of the region.

Then why are you and your kind so concerned?

Look at the thread title - it is regarding studies planned in Pakistani institutes. Yet, more Indians are larping on here than Pakistanis.

Do you plan to enrol for a few semesters?

I never knew there was such a possiblity, such a dimension on the whole thing. Actually I find it interesting.

Interesting! I had no idea there could be such difference.
This is absolutely central to India's media efforts

Pakistan needs to do better to show confidence and temperance as India is invested in denying space to anything to do with this, it's civilizational insecu9

When do they get angry what India does?

Most nations in the world have some pre monotheistic history

Then they become monotheist and didn't look back

Let me repeat didn't look back, it's a historical process

India has a big monotheism problem, irrational and angry, Pakistan is just where India cannot reconcile that people moved on

How much can this take off?

It has a niche space, visible enough, and can be done for posterity and academic learning, and reminds the world Pakistan is a home to great ancient history

But yes buttress the Persian angle too.

Plato believed in Atlantis. Wrote about it

Aryan at that time was a concept of being and thinking, conduct and ethics and behaviour

The racial element is the veneer you see, and became associated with blonde and blue eyes

India has deleted this in practice, a contradiction.

There is no major civilization absent of basic standards of care to your environment, this would be an Aryan way of thinking.

India inserts itself into the civilizational discussion to subsequently devalue it.

The Chinese deleted all their ancient cultural riches yet they have civilization and civic sense, well to a decent part, they have a connection to the land and thinking

I did study Sanskrit as a language in high school but only because it was supposed to be easy to score in the 10th board exams
